Is getting into central universities through CUET leaving a seat in VIT Vellore ECE CAT-2 a good idea or not?

Not a good idea. If you are getting NITs/IITs/IIITs then leaving VIT can be a wise idea. VIT is most reputed NAAC A+ accredited University having 9 NIRF ranking. The placements opportunities in VIT are the best. So, rethink before taking any decision.
