It is an engineering college in Hour, Tamil Nadu. It is under Anna University.
Placements: Placements in our college are quite good, and around 70 to 80% of students from my batch got placed. The average package is around 3 to 4 LPA, while some students received higher offers depending on their skills. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, and HCL. Many students also received internship opportunities in reputed companies, which helped them gain practical knowledge. Roles offered are mostly software development, network engineer, and analyst. The placement cell is very supportive and trains students with mock interviews, aptitude tests, and soft skill development sessions.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good with spacious classrooms, well equipped labs, a digital library, and Wi-Fi facilities that support learning. The hostel provides clean rooms, 24/7 water and electricity, and the mess food is hygienic with a decent variety. Medical facilities are available inside the campus, and there are good opportunities for sports and games. The canteen is neat and offers affordable food. Overall, the facilities are well maintained and create a comfortable environment for both academic and personal growth.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, supportive, and always ready to clear doubts with practical examples. The teaching quality is very good, and the curriculum is well structured, updated, and relevant to industry needs, which helps students become job-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with proper preparation and guidance from teachers, most students can score well. The pass percentage is usually high, and continuous internal assessment helps students stay on track. Overall, the combination of good faculty and an effective curriculum ensures strong academic growth.
Other: Not much of the events are there, but what you expect is there.

My college is better than other colleges.
Placements: Above 70% of students get placed in my college. The highest package offered in my college is 12 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 6 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Zuvi, Nvidia, and Infosys visit my college to hire students from our course. Students with a CGPA above 8.0 are selected by companies.
Infrastructure: My college faculty members are really amazing at teaching subjects. In labs, classrooms, and the library, students are not allowed without ID cards. Sports and games are really enjoyable, and many students participate in sports.
Faculty: Er. Perumal Manimekalai College of Engineering has teachers, staff members, the HOD, and the principal who teach full lessons.
Other: I like computers and coding, so I chose this course. This current generation is run based on AI. I want to improve my technical skills and get information about what is best for me. It conducts extracurricular activities. There are also societies here.

Improve placements are needed.
Placements: The percentage is less. The companies that are brought are almost production companies or BPOs. Otherwise, startups require a huge amount of work time with very less for freshers. Rarely we get core companies. The highest package is 6 LPA, to my knowledge, it is 8 LPA not in my department. The recruiting companies are mostly startups and production-based companies. They don't permit us to go to internships in the final year. I got an offer letter from a BPO.
Infrastructure: The food is good. Though only veg is allowed on the campus. There are 4 canteens and 1 mess in total on the campus. You would get snacks such as the basic items lays, kurkure, other things, soft drinks, and others are also available. Oil snacks such as samosa and puffs cake are also available.
Faculty: The course I took was not that difficult. We have 6 months for a semester whereas, you would get a unit test at the end of the 1st month, an internal test in the second month, again unit 2 test in the early 3 months, an internal 2 at ending of 3rd month then goes model 1 and model 2, then semester exams are held.
Other: There would rarely be any programs on this campus in 4 years once an annual day. There are no cultural, fests, or celebrations. SC/ST people will get 100% scholarships, whereas others have to based on how they joined, either through counseling or management quota.

Better faculty members support and more extracurricular activities could enrich students experience.
Placements: Approximately 30% of students who completed the course got successfully placed. The highest package offered in our course is 6 LPA, and the lowest is 2.4 LPA. The average package stood around 4.2 LPA. Recruiting company is GlowLogics Pvt. Ltd. 10% of students got internships. Roles offered is hardware engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure for our course are decent, offering essential amenities such as Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, spacious classrooms, and access to a library. While the resources are sufficient for learning, some areas could be improved for a better experience. Overall, the department provides an average learning environment.
Faculty: Semester exams in this college are moderately difficult, requiring consistent study and understanding of concepts, with proper preparation, students can perform well. The pass percentage is around 80%, indicating that a majority of students successfully clear the exams.
Other: The college hosts various events and fests, creating a lively campus atmosphere with an average crowd. It offers decent connectivity, good surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities for student engagement.

The honest review of my college.
Placements: The college provides good opportunities for the students to work with reputed companies. All the companies that recruit students from our college are the best. We are lucky to study at this college. They provide placements with a minimum 4 LPA. They also provide placements from top MNC companies.
Infrastructure: In my intermediate, I want to take admission to this college by seeing its infrastructure, but it goes beyond than that. Our college has good buildings and good facilities. There is a good playground. I am advising my juniors to take this college infrastructures as a minimum benchmark. .
Faculty: The course curriculum is superb, and it is more useful in present-day situations. Faculty members at our college are very friendly. They will express our doubts many times with so much patience. The administration department is very polite with students.
Other: My college is very good in infrastructure, placement, and friendly faculty, which are very useful.

College is simply strict about rules.
Placements: Students will get placed with a percentage of 75% and above. The highest salary package offered is around 9 LPA-10 LPA, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 25,000 per month - Rs. 30,000 per month, based on skills. Top roles include TL and project manager. Many companies, including local companies in Bangalore, require software knowledge.
Infrastructure: In hostel, there are facilities like Wi-Fi, study hall, indoor sports, gym, and a TV hall. There is a medical facility on campus, available only during college hours. Food is good enough. Rooms in the hostel are also shared with faculty members, like professors.
Faculty: Pass percentage is 45%. There is nothing difficult in the semester. Course curriculum is relevant to the industry. Teaching quality is slightly different and makes understanding a bit difficult, it can be improved. During the semester, teachers help share important notes.
Other: Interest in a career in the IT field is the reason to choose the course.
