Well, if you've heard for reliable sources like The Hindu or the Economic Times it is true. The salary at the top 3 IIMs are very high. Before I mention the salaries, let me start by saying that there are two types of placements :
The Summer Placements: These are internships and salary may range from a few Lacs to even 10,000 per month and is for a period of two to three months. For IIMs/FMS there is CAT scorecard required. If you have more than 95 percentile then there are high chances to get a call.

If you are general student, then aim for at least 99% in CAT exam. 50% in graduation is required to be eligible and it will only be asked about in interviews.

It depends on different IIMs or other Top B-schools, they have separate criteria for percentages in class 10th and class 12th.

If you are general or OBC category, chances of getting a call is bleak. But, if you have any reservation other than this, there is a high chance of getting calls.

Hello!
A score of 98.5-99+ percentile in CAT should be safe enough to get an interview call from FMS New Delhi. Since a significant weight age is allotted to the CAT score, the higher you score the better it would be.
Good luck!
