The minimum eligibility criteria is that the student should have passed in UG with at least 60%. Completing B.Tech in 5 years may cause problem during PI but if the candidate is able to convince the panel it won't cause problem. Some of the Iims such as IIM Ahmedabad gives more emphasis on academic performance. So for IIM A if the marks in 10th, 12th and Graduation are less, then the candidate might not get a call despite scoring 99.99 percentile. The CAT cutoff for Old IIMs and FMS remains more than 99 percentile for general category. However, it may vary depending upon the academic diversity, gender diversity and work experience.

Hi Bumba,
For SC candidate, you should look to score over 95%ile in CAT if you wish to have a good chance of getting into FMS, even with an average PI/GD/Extempore round.

Hi Arun,
MBA is one of the most valuable degrees all over the world.
You will have to register for CAT and apply to FMS via its website when the applications open up in Oct-Nov.

Hi Pappu,
For foreign students, you will have to apply via your embassy. From what I have heard, even GMAT is not mandatory.
