CAT 2023 application process started on August 2 and ended on September 21, 2023. Now, the CAT form correction window is open from September 25 to 28, 2023 for candidates to edit their forms and update information if required. 

 It is very important to fill the CAT registration cum application form correctly because your MBA aspiration depends on it. All the information furnished in the form will be taken into consideration for MBA admission in the CAT accepting colleges. 

Filling up the CAT application form correctly is also important as the IIM selection and admission prcess is dependent on this form. The information furnished in the CAT 2023 registration cum application form is the basis on which a candidate will be selected for IIMs' WAT/GD-PI round and/or final admission. The important point to note here is that the CAT application form cannot be edited once it is submitted. Only a certain fields can be edited that too when the CAT form correction window opens. Candidates can make changes in their CAT application forms free of cost when the form correction window opens. Candidates can edit three fieldsphotograph, signature and test city preference. 

During the CAT 2023 form correction process, candidates must make the changes if required as these CAT forms will be used by the IIMs for admission process. Information that cannot be edited in CAT form include  photo, signature and selection of test cities.

Once the CAT 2023 application form correction window opens, you will be required to follow the steps below:

  • Go to the official CAT 2023 website iimcat.ac.in
  • Login with your user ID and password
  • Go to your CAT application form
  • Make required changes - upload new photo, signature or re-select test cities
  • Save the form again

However, it will be better if you fill the CAT application form 2023 without any errors in the first attempt.

To avoid any error while filling up the CAT exam registration cum application form, you must first of all, keep all the information ready with you. Keep your marksheets and documents by your side for cross checking the information to be filled. Also keep a scanned copy of your recent passport sized photo and your signature. The photo should be of 30mm x 45mm dimension and in JPEG or JPG format. The file size should be not more than 80 KB. The dimensions of your signature should be 80mm X 35mm and the format should be JPEG or JPG format.

The most important thing to remember while filling up the CAT 2023 registration form is to cross check all the information entered before submitting it. If you make a mistake in the form, you will be left with only two options:

  • Either fill the CAT application form again with new email ID and phone number and pay the application fee one more time.
  • Or wait for the CAT application form correction window to open. But in this case, you will be allowed to edit only a few fields like percentage of marks scored, test centre, image, and signature.

The window to edit CAT application forms is opened for the convenience of CAT aspirants, for a few days after the application process is officially over.

Tips to fill the CAT 2023 application form without errors

  • Fill the CAT 2023 application form before the last date.
  • Recommended internet browsers to fill up the CAT 2023 application form are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome.
  • Do not use a smart phone to fill the form. Use a laptop or a desktop.
  • Use the same photo on the application form that you will use on the CAT 2023 admit card.
  • Use your own email ID and phone number to register for CAT 2023.
  • Do not misspell or furnish erroneous information in the form.
  • Mention correct age, academic year of passing, score and percentage in the form.
  • Do not leave any field marked as mandatory empty.
  • Make sure the CAT fee payment is successful and you have obtained acknowledgement.
  • Keep a copy of the duly filled form and fee payment acknowledgement slip safe.

After the form application correction window closes, no request for changes in the CAT application form will be accepted. A: CAT form correction is the facility given to candidates to edit certain fields of the form after the registration process has concluded. This is a one-time opportunity for candidates to make correction in their already submitted forms if required.

yes, you can get admission with a 75 percentile in CAT exam, it is a competitive score to get a admission in SKIPS. the percentile criteria varies yearly, a minimum of 75 percentile is required for PGDM programme and 80 for PGDM (DUAL SPECIALIZATION) program, don't worry it will be alright
