B.Sc in Geology, Fergusson College also is one of the premier institute in the field of Science in Pune. Traditionally the college set a high cutoff percentage to join this program. The percentage of cutoff was around 95.60 % for the students passing through the Maharashtra State Board for Bsc Geology for the academic year 2022 - 2023. If you are from the PUC Karnataka board then your percentage system will be considered. It has been record that average percentage of students across this schools ranges from 94% and so it may be challenging to be offered admission. But then again, a few intakes are available for students from other boards and therefore, it is advisable to participate in the exercise. In total, the college offers the B.Sc Geology programme for 120 students.

The college also hosts several cultural and sporting events throughout the year.* Internships: Although the college doesn't have a separate placement cell for internships, some companies do offer internships to students, either directly or through the college's industry connections.* Student Feedback: Many students praised the college's supportive atmosphere, saying that the faculty is approachable and willing to help. Others appreciated the college's efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industry. Some areas where the college could improve include:* Placement Record: While the placement record is generally good, some specializations (like M.Sc.
