Very good infrastructure and faculty
Placements: The percentage of students placed was, say, 60-65% in my course. The highest package was 5 lac per annum, and the lowest was 2 lac per annum. The companies who recruited were Deloitte and others, say many private banks. As compared to internships, the ratio was very small as I felt no one had gotten any internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was very good and well maintained in our college as it was the oldest college in the district so far. My point of view is that the infrastructure was very good and there were all facilities available, say computer lab, library, auditorium, and others labs, say science labs related to all departments were there, and relating to the hostel, the facility was very good regarding the timetable and the mess. All the dietary foods were given, and the fees were very convenient.
Faculty: The teachers were very qualified and helpful and well knowledgeable, and their teaching quality was very impressive. The course was a very effective course to make a student ready for industry. Regarding the exam schedule, the process is very convenient and strict. The exams of the semester were taken very strictly. The pass percentage of our college is 89% as very strict examination rules are followed.

GC College B.Sc. Botany Review.
Placements: There's no placement cell, most of the students after studying B.Sc. botany go for Masters and there are plenty of good jobs you can pursue after the Masters. You can go for CSIR NET and if you are able to qualify the exam, you can become a college or University lecturer. You can also go for IFS and you can be a researcher at top institutes like ICAR .
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the botany department is pretty decent, we have one seminar room where most of our lectures take place. It is well furnished and big enough for all the students. Labs are decent at best, necessary equipments are present but some advanced equipments are not available. There is a department library where you can get access to limited number of books but you can also get to college library for more but for that you have to get a library card .
Faculty: All the professors are really helpful and they take the classes regularly and are always approachable when it comes to any queries you have regarding the topics related to your subject. The botany course is part of Life Science course and according to me it has a significant relevance in today's world. Also don't think that you are going to be studying plants only, there are lots of interdisciplinary subjects like Mol Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology and many more which are really important if you are going for something in the field of Research.

The college infrastructure is average, and the fee is reasonable. Faculty members are very good.
Placements: The top disadvantage of my college is that it doesn't provide internships or any campus interviews. A very huge number of students take admission to this college as it is the only big college in the city. It provides a bachelor's degree of every type.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very low. Facilities are low. Labs are there but small. All equipment is available. The hostel is good, and the hostel food is also good. The canteen is not good, and the food of the canteen is also not good. The college infrastructure is bad, but the environment is good and pleasant.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are very interactive and friendly. They teach us well. Classes are being taken from time to time. Practicals are being done. Exams are taken from time to time according to the university. Courses are very helpful and my course needs the industry and pharma companies to come and take us. They give us the opportunity to show what we can do.
Other: I chose this course because a B.Sc in Biotechnology is one of the best courses of this time. It is helping India and the world in the bio sector or medical sector. My course should get more exposure, more name and fame. Our college organises events, fests, scholarship programs, workshops, etc.

Teachers are good but there are no placements.
Placements: There were no placements in our college as it is a normal graduation college, and no companies came here for placements. It is an affiliated college with a university, so the recruiting companies directly go to the university.
Infrastructure: I was from a statistics background, so sometimes, we used to visit computer labs for programming. The lab was very well furnished and had a Wi-Fi facility and air-conditioners. Our library was huge with thousands of books. We had one canteen, and the food was not good. We usually take those chips and cold drinks. We had girls' and boys' hostels on campus, and they were totally safe for students. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful. We used to play games during our annual festival both indoors and outdoors.
Faculty: Teachers were well educated and had good knowledge of the respective fields. The course made students industry-ready and we could easily compete with outsiders. Teachers were very strict during examinations so there was no chance of any malpractice during exams. The questions set by the university were quite standard and test our knowledge. The pass percentage was 40%.
Other: My favorite subject is mathematics but I couldn't get a seat in it. So, I chose statistics. Later, I loved studying it. One can also get a scholarship from the college. You can also take part in various cultural events and sports, which will add value to your resume in the future.

Bachelors of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2029

Good faculty and supportive environment with a decent infrastructure and campus life.
Placements: Around 70-80% of students from my course got placed. Highest package offered was around 8-10 LPA, lowest was around 2-3 LPA, and average package stood near 4-5 LPA. Some of the top recruiters included companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and HDFC Bank. Nearly 50% of students also got internships, mostly through campus drives, in companies like HCL, Deloitte, and local startups. Top roles offered were Software Engineer, Analyst, Associate Consultant, and Marketing Executive, depending on the stream.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is good with spacious classrooms, a well-stocked library, and access to Wi-Fi in certain areas. Laboratories and seminar halls are available for academic purposes. Hostel facilities are average but manageable, with decent food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are available, and the campus also has sports and cultural activity spaces that help in overall student development.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their subjects. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theory and practical aspects. Curriculum is relevant but leans more towards academics than industry exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but fair, and most students clear them with consistent preparation. Overall pass percentage is quite high, showing that the faculty puts in effort to guide students.
Other: I chose this course because I was genuinely interested in the subject, and the college has a good reputation in the region.

It was quite good for completing your graduation.
Placements: Only a few students from our batch were placed through the college. The placement rate was around 10-15%. Most students go for higher studies rather than campus placements. There were limited on-campus recruitment drives. The average package offered was around 2.5 to 3 LPA, with the highest being around 4 LPA. Internships are not actively provided by the college, and students usually have to find them on their own. Top roles offered were mostly in the education, sales, and customer service sectors.
Infrastructure: The college has basic infrastructure. Classrooms are spacious but not very modern. Wi-Fi is available in some areas, but the speed is often slow. The library has a decent collection of books, but the reading space is limited. Labs are not very well-equipped for practical learning. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are shared, and cleanliness can be improved. The mess food is okay but lacks variety. There are limited sports facilities, and medical services are minimal.
Faculty: Teachers are supportive, but not all of them are equally experienced or updated with modern teaching methods. Some teachers are helpful during doubts, while others just follow the textbook. The curriculum is quite theoretical and not very industry-focused. There is a lack of practical exposure. Semester exams are moderately difficult but manageable if you study regularly. The overall pass percentage is decent, but toppers mostly rely on self-study and coaching.
Other: Option 1 (Balanced): Decent college with basic facilities, average placements, and scope for improvement. Option 2 (More Critical): Average teaching and infrastructure, placements are low, and not industry-focused. Option 3 (Positive but honest): Good environment for graduation, but placements and practical exposure need work.
