GIBS Business School Recruitment ProcessApplication Procedure:Candidates must complete and submit the application form (either online or through regular mail) along with all the required supporting documentswhich include academic and personal information.Statement of Purpose (SOP):After being shortlisted, candidates will need to draft an SOP that outlines their short-term and long-term career aspirations as well as their reasons for pursuing a specific education and or career pathway.Group Discussion (GD): Candidates will participate in GD's to demonstrate their ability to communicate effectively and work in a team as well as their level of familiarity and awareness of current issues/ topics.Personal Interview (PI): At the conclusion of GD's, candidates will be interview by a PI panel in order to assess their personality type, level of confidence, subject matter expertise, and clarity of their career aspirations.Final Selection:The final selection of candidates will be based on the overall score from:SOP, GD and PI (approximately 40%):Entrance Exam (approximately 20%)Academic Record (approximately 20%)Other Considerations (extracurricular activities & professional work experience)Offer of Admission:Successful candidates will be provided with an official offer of admission from the GIBS Business School.

The qualifications to apply for the Bachelors or PGDM programme at GIBS Business School are straightforward and include an academic requirement that includes an overall assessment of a student's potential.BBA Eligibility Requirements:A student must complete the PLUS or HSC from any recognised board. Students who are taking their 12th exams can apply.Each applicant will be required to participate in a group discussion and/or a personal interview.There are no specific streams required (any stream). PGDM Eligibility Requirements:A student must have a bachelor's degree from a university with a minimum grade of 50% from a Board's degree of 10+2+3/4, as well as a graduate-level.The college will accept valid exam scores from CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, along with GMAT and ATMA.Final year Bachelor degree students who are taking exams may apply.The student will be assessed using a Group Discussion, Personal Interview and their overall background (academic, technical, etc.) as part of the selection criteria.
