JNU Admission Through CUET 2026: Jawaharlal Nehru University will start the JNU UG Admission through CUET 2026 soon. The JNU admission application form 2026 will be released on the official website in July 2026. Candidates who are seeking JNU Admission through CUET UG 2026 must apply before the last date (July 2026). CUET UG counselling process schedule is announced by the participating universities after the declaration of CUET results. The process will be conducted separately by the universities and it will not be a centralised counselling system. The CUET 2025 counselling process will have the following stages:

  • Each participating institute will release its individual rank list of candidates who are eligible to participate in the counselling process of CUET 2025.
  • Candidates will have to register online and then appear in online counselling followed by offline counselling.
  • Upon seat allotment, candidates will have to pay the admission fee and report to institutes to accept the admission offer.

Q:   What documents are required during BHU CUET counselling registration?
A: 

Candidates need to upload scanned copies of a few documents during the registration procedure. The documents must be in PDF / JPEG format. Below is the list of documents.

  • Matriculation or its equivalent certificate.
  • Class 12 mark sheet.
  • Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and income certificate (SC/ST) issued by the appropriate authority.
  • PwD Certificate (if applicable).
  • BHU employee certificate (if applicable).
  • Certificate of admission under sports quota is claimed.
  • Scanned copy of a recent colour photograph & signature.
Q:   When will CUET result be declared?
A: 

CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31.

Q:   What is CUET result date?
A: 

NTA will announce the CUET result 2026 tentatively in first week of July. CUET UG result 2026 will be announced at cuet.nta.nic.in online. Candidates who will appear for the exam can check their scores online. Students will be required to enter their login credentials to view the CUET scorecard 2026. NTA will mention the applicant's details and subject-wise score for CUET 2026. The scores will be sent to the universities for which candidates have applied soon after the declaration of results. Candidates must note that the role of NTA ends soon after the declaration of CUET results 2026.

Q:   What to do after the declaration of CUET result?
A: 

The final CUET answer key published by the NTA serves as the basis for the CUET result. Following this, it is anticipated that all of the participating universities will publish their separate cut-off lists (admission/merit lists) and dates for student acceptance to various UG programs.

Candidates must now complete the application in order to be admitted to the college they choose during the application process. Depending on the number of open seats, the college will release a separate cutoff and merit list in one or more rounds following the submission of the registration form on the college website.

Q:   I have filled in for 3 domain subjects in CUET. How will it affect my result if I only attempt 2 of it?
A: 

While filling the CUET application form, candidates are advised to carefully mark the subjects from languages, domain subjects and general test. Candidates must check the institute wise subject requirement for the course candidate wishes to apply for. If the candidate has applied for four CUET domain subjects and appears for three subjects, it may affect the overall percentile of the candidate. However, if the domain subjects for which the student has appeared, qualify as per the institute’s course requirement, they will be eligible for admission process.

Q:   Who conducts CUET UG counselling?
A: 

The CUET UG counselling is conducted by the universities acepting CUET UG scores seperately. Candidates will have to apply seperately for each university to appear for the CUET UG counselling process. National Testing Agency (NTA) has no role in conduction counselling process for CUET UG admissions. The participating universities conduct CUET counselling on the basis of candidate's CUET score and college preferences. The candidates are supposed to fill the forms for college and course for seat allotment. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates for admission to participating universities. 

JNU Admission Counselling Form 2026: Documents Required

The candidates are suggested to keep the following documents handy before filling the application form for JNU admission:

  • Class 10 mark sheet

After completing the JNU counselling application, Jawaharlal Nehru University will release a JNU admission merit list. The varsity prepares the JNU UG Merit List based on the CUET score. While preparing the merit list, JNU considers the marks secured by the candidates in CUET 2026 and reservation criteria. The varsity will release the final merit list on its official website. Yes, candidates must have CUET UG score to apply for admissions at University of Delhi. Admission to UG courses of DU is offered through CUET UG scores. CUET 2026 Seat Allotment for Jawaharlal Nehru University

After releasing the final merit list, JNE will prepare the seat allotment list for admission to its UG and COP programs. Candidates will be able to download the JNU seat allotment list from the official website of JNU. Along with the seat allotment list, JNU will also release the provisional admission letter.
