Excellent Placement, Faculty, Campus Infrastructure and hostel, but very strict attendance policy.
Placements: The 2022-24 batch for PGDM has achieved 100% placement with the highest salary of 16.15 LPA and an average of 7.4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Mahindra Finance, Ivy Home, Deloitte, L&D, HDB, Bosch, Ultra teach, EY, Airtel, Amazon, Practo, etc. The top roles are management trainee, business analyst, and marketing executive.
Infrastructure: The institutes offer excellent infrastructure including SMART classroom, duplex auditorium, waiting lounge, Wi-Fi-enabled campus, AI Lab, library, Innovation & research lab. Hostel facilities are clean, comfortable, and secure providing good south and north Indian food. There is a 24x7x365 medical emergency facility for the student by management. Sports facilities include basketball, indoor games, gym, yoga, dance room, etc.
Faculty: The faculty members at GIBS are highly qualified, and supportive, delivering excellent teaching through interactive and practical methods. PGDM curriculum is highly relevant, regularly updated to match industry trends, and recently launched the AI Lab and Innovation & Research lab, ensuring students become industry-ready. The exams are moderately challenging yet manageable with regular study and have a high pass percentage of almost 100%.
Other: I choose the PGDM at GIBS for its industry-focused curriculum, placement, practical exposure, IRE, CPMP training, BMP, etc. It would be highly appreciated if they included the non-veg in the mess food menu. Events like Enchainer Fest, Mitrosava, Campus Biz, Sports, GPL Cricket matches, etc are frequently organized. GIBS gives scholarships only who have a good percentile in their entrance exam, and academically also in the event called SOTY (Student of the Year). The student got a cash prize of 50,000.

I'm happy to be a part of GIBS.
Placements: 98.2% of students got placed from our course. The highest package offered is 16.1 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. The average package is 8.2 LPA. More than 210 MNCs visited the campus for recruitment including L&T, HSBC, Mahendra Finance, Oppo, Nyka, etc. 100% of students got internships from our course in Tier 2 companies. Top roles offered are manager and assistant manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are awesome and the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Every classroom is like per modern business school and it gives a feeling like a corporate building. The library is open from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Students can borrow the books from the library. The quality of hostel infrastructure is good and the quality of food is hygienic. Medical facilities are available for students, hospital is only 60 m away from hostel. Regarding sports and games, it depends on us like how we utilize that and also gym facilities are available.
Faculty: Every teacher is qualified and knowledgeable with a minimum of 15 years of experience in both corporate and teaching in top institutions of the country. Course curriculum is relevant and prepares students practically to be industry-ready. Semester exams are easy because students get an application and practical questions. One can easily solve these questions if they listen carefully during the classes.
Other: When I was in the final semester of B.Com final semester, I was confused about selecting master's i.e. MBA or PGDM. Then I got to know PGDM is a course that will give more practical knowledge and corporate knowledge so I selected this course. The best things about my course are more practical knowledge and less theoretical. Events are conducted every week, and for participating in fest it depends on our interest. In my college, crowd is cool and calm because GIBS hires a limited students. Our college is having strong alumni network.

Good experience and opportunities.
Placements: We have 120 students in a batch. In our class, we have 90 students divided into two sections. The gym is there in the college, with good connection opportunities and a good relationship with faculty members. The average package is 3,00,000, and the highest package is 7,00,000. The jobs are in sales and marketing.
Infrastructure: The library, medical room, orientation room, mess area, and basketball court are available. Wi-Fi and AC are in every class. The auditorium has a capacity of 500 people, with guest lectures every week. TEDx events happen every month, providing opportunities to interact with corporate leaders.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, and some are very interactive with students, guiding them for their future, helping in studies, and providing information about future plans. Some are underqualified and don't bother; they just take the class and go.
Other: The average placement is 3 Lakh.

Getting a supportive community with excellent resources & dedicated faculty Overall, I am satisfied.
Placements: In the 2023 batch, approximately 98% of students placed. The highest package was 16.1 LPA and the average package was 7.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Mahindra Finance, Oppo, Nykaa, HDB, IDFC and many more. 100% of students got internships from our courses like Google, Dabar and Varun beverages. The roles like sales executive, product developed and brand manager.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good with facilities like a clubhouse, indoor games, a dance floor, a study place, a basketball court, and a cricket ground. The campus is WiFi-enabled. Faculty: The faculty is well-experienced. Every semester, the students are taken to an industrial visit. A lot of curriculum activities, societies, and events are organized. The exams include a case study and application-based questions.
Other: I chose PGDM because it is a practical-oriented course. We will get more exposure and connectivity. Events and inter-college competitions are also organized. Scholarships are also offered. We have an opportunity to learn how to write case studies and research papers. Also, international business trips are offered.

Life at GIBS is like living in India full of diversity and full of excitement.
Placements: Currently the process of placement is going on still; till now, I think only 20 people have been placed in the November drive. Most of the companies that are coming for the placements are startups, along with Mahindra Finance. We took around 4 people from our college. Overall, the placement process looks good. I think till the end of our batch, 90% of people will be placed.
Infrastructure: So, GIBS is having a very good infrastructure. We have an auditorium; we also have a library with us. Apart from it, we have space; a new building has been constructed in which we have a fitness gym. We have a gaming area and, for cookery activities, we also have one separate space where people can go and practice if they want to perform.
Faculty: Regarding professors, they are really good. I especially like that they are calling additional staff and the guest lecturers we are having at our college. Most of the professors are from industry, which has had more than 10 years of experience with them.
Other: We are also having two separate programs called Liar in CPMB, which really help us in boosting our image.

Overall, I am pretty satisfied with the college.
Placements: Placement try is good. Many of the students have been placed in our batch. The placement is skills online, but I think at the end of the semester, mostly 52% to 80% of the people will be placed in our batch. That's good. Overall, for BBA, it's a very good college, and I will recommend it.
Infrastructure: The college has multiple features. For example, we have our own gym, auditorium, lab, and library. Apart from it, we have spaces where we can sit together and talk and come up with our own prototype for our business. Apart from it, we also have space where we can go and play.
Faculty: Examinations are based on Bangalore University, so we have to follow their timetable. The faculty is good. Most of them are from the industry itself, so you have a very diverse range of teachers. Apart from it, in our college, we have workshops that are conducted every Friday.
Other: Overall, college life has been a good experience, but the only thing I didn't like is that the campus is small.
