What is the admission process at Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement?

The admission process for various courses offered at GITA differs . To be admitted to GITA, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. The college offers over 12 courses (including specialisations) in various streams such as Business and Management Studies, Engineering and IT & Software etc. Candidates can detail detailed admission process below: STEP 1: Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement Application Process 2025 Candidates are required to apply online on the official website of the institute. STEP 2: Selection Rounds Students will be selected based on registration, entrance exam score and counselling as per respective courses. STEP 2.1: GITA PhD Admission Selection Criteria Admission shall be based on the marks secured in the entrance test and interview, subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility criteria and the rules of reservation. Once, the candidates proceed further need to submit the necessary documents. Aspirants are advised to keep ready the following documents for the selection procedure: Date of birth (SSC/ matriculation or equivalent certificates) Postgraduate Degree/MPhil degree or provisional certificates as applicable GATE/NET etc. valid scores, if applicable Note: The above-listed certificates are to be submitted at the time of interview at GAC, Bhubaneswar Documents need to be submitted (in original) at the time of admission for verification: Postgraduate Degree/MPhil degree or provisional certificates as applicable. Marks Statement of the qualifying examination. Transfer and Conduct certificate from the Institute where the candidate last studied. GATE/NET etc. valid scores, if applicable. Migration certificate. Date of Birth (SSC/Matriculation or equivalent Certificates). Integrated community certificate issued by the competent authority in case of SC/ST candidates. Medical Certificate from not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon in case of PHC. Physical Fitness certificate. Service certificate and “No Objection” certificate from the present employer (for part-time candidates only.) Deposit of Admission and registration fee for research scholars registration fee (one time): INR 20,000. Tuition fee (Annual): INR 30,000. Thesis evaluation fee: to be notified at the time of submission of the thesis. STEP 3: Merit List and Admission Confirmation Once selection rounds are over, the institute releases a merit list. To allot and confirm the seat candidates are required to pay the application fee at the admission receipt centre.

Is M.Tech course available at Gandhi Institute for Technological Advancement?

Infrastructure: Every department has a separate lab and classrooms. Wi-Fi is given to every student. A world-class library is also available. Hostel facility is so good and comfortable. Food is very tasty and healthy. Sports facilities are also available for both boys and girls.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and very helpful. They solve everyone's problem easily. Teaching quality is also good. This course is curriculum relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are easy to pass, and we are provided with question banks for practice.

Other: I chose this course because I always wanted to become a successful engineer. So many extracurricular activities are happening here.

Semester exams are easy to pass, and we are provided with question banks for practice. We need to score atleast 40% to pass the semester exam.

Placements: Placements are good. Mostly in IT, the placements are good than in other branches. This year Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, etc., visited our college. Tech Mahindra is the top recruiter. The highest package offered is 3.2 LPA. The lowest package offered is 1.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. The campus is big. There is a garden inside. There are 8 boys hostels and 6 girls hostels for students. Library is good and all types of technology books and other magazines are available. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are spacious and have all chemicals and apparatus used in industry. There is a cricket ground. Volleyball court, badminton court, etc., are present in this college.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly qualified and experienced. They all have done their postgraduate and masters. They use simple language which is easy to understand. They clear our doubts through discussion. There are two semesters in a year conducted by the university. Each semester has two sessionals. Questions are moderate level.

To grow, you need to read and analyse first.

Placements: The placement cell of GITA Autonomous College is very active. Almost 70% students are being placed. The starting CTC per month ranges from twenty-five to thirty thousand and can exceed as per the company norms and the employee's work. Companies like TCS, EESPL, Capgemini, and Accenture visit the college for the placement. The placement includes all off-campus, on-campus, and pool drives.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is such appealing to the eye, but the hostel is of very poor quality. The infrastructure of the hostel is good, but the food quality is unbearable. The food is of such quality that even the students with the strongest immunity will not be able to survive. The college has a canteen, a medical room, multiple sports grounds multiple in number, a basketball court, a football ground, a table tennis court, etc. It also has Wi-Fi and a well-stocked library.

Faculty: The curriculum, knowledge provided, way of teaching, and behavior of teachers everything is good. But there are some teachers who are very arrogant, they don't even answer genuine doubts properly. The placement cell, sports department, cultural department, and other departments everything and everyone is very student-friendly.

Other: The college hosts multiple number of events and festivals which keep the students' minds fresh and engaged in good activities. The only thing I wish could be better is the food quality at the hostel.

Placements: The placement this college offers with the fee structure is incredible. Almost 75% of students are being placed in good companies. Companies like EESPL, Capgemini, and TCS come as recruiters for placement. The starting package is around thirty thousand per month if done in Bhubaneswar, and can increase if done in any metro city.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is so appealing that the students don't wish to go outside the campus. It has canteens, libraries, sports grounds, clubhouses, and all the rest of the refreshment facilities, which help the students get their minds refreshed from the academic stress. The hostel is okay, but the food quality is poor; hence, it is not worth it. Even the healthiest can get sick by eating hostel food.

Faculty: The course is good, and the knowledge provided is good and top-notch, but some of the teachers are arrogant. Even if you ask a genuine question, they tend to reply arrogantly, which is not appealing, but the rest is good. The coordinator, placement cell teachers, and other teachers are also very helpful. The curriculum does make students industry-ready, as it provides projects and industry visits along with academics.

Other: The college hosts multiple events and fests, which also help students develop their personalities. The hostel's food quality can be improved. My interest in developing software made me choose this course at this college.

Placements: Actually, somehow placements in GITA are good. Maximum students are placed. The highest package is 6 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Maximum 80% of students get internships. Top recruiting companies came in GITA College like Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, etc.

Infrastructure: Overall facilities are average. Infrastructure is little bit good. But the infrastructure of the college is also average but more maintenance is needed. Hostels are sometimes so much bad. Many departments are there. Labs are also average. Many computers are not good.

Faculty: Some teachers are really good and well. Faculty members are very much helpful and they are always available for students. Semester exams are little bit tough. 85% is the pass percentage of GITA College. GITA makes students ready for industry and placements also.

Other: Many curriculum activities are done. Actually from GITA, I am pursuing B. Tech degree in CSE AI branch. I chose this course by my choice, somehow this course is good as well as in demand. Many students got scholarships. People in GITA are friendly.
