SC/ST/BC/MBC students can also get Pragati/Saksham, higher education and post-metric scholarships, as applicable. They also take into consideration academic achievement and social economic necessity. Accordingly, the full support is awarded selectively to certain groups of people, but it is not awarded automatically to everybody.
