It is a very well reputed college.
Placements: There's no placement in our Government Autonomous College, Rourkela. Not a single company visited, and no one got an internship from the college. No one got the roles in my course.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are quite good in our college. Wi-Fi is available in almost all corners of our college. Labs are pretty good but need some development. Classrooms are pretty spacious, but the library needs some massive work on its infrastructure, and the collection of books also need to be increased.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and very well qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. They are taking a very good step of recruiting well qualified private contract teachers. The curriculum is relevant and set by the Odisha gender government itself. Semester exams are taken quite seriously, and 70% of students pass.
Other: I took this course because I wanted to. The college should provide more study materials and well trained teachers.

It is the best college in Rourkela.
Placements: I am a student of B.Sc from batch 2018 to 2021 in our college. I am studying in electronics and telecommunication branch of the self-financing department. Approximately 60% of the students got placed from our senior batch, i.e., out of 41 students, about 29 got placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was around 3.6 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was around 1.8 LPA. Top requirement companies for our course are TCS, Tata Steel, Rourkela Steel Plant, etc. The top role offered in our course is an assistant supervisor. The highest salary package offered in our course was 4.0 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered was 1.5 LPA. About 10% of students got internships in TCS, while 14 students got in Tata Steel and 5 students in Rourkela. Other 5 students got in different companies, and 10 students are studying a master in science in this same college. Remaining students quit their studies due to different reasons.
Infrastructure: There are well-cleaned rooms and labs with marvel paving, and all the labs are air-conditioned. There is a Wi-Fi facility for students for limited use, and there is a library, which contains all the books, previous year question papers, etc. There are separate hostels for boys and girls which are further divided into general and SC/ST hostel. There is a separate hostel for post-graduation girls, in which every room has the capacity to accommodate 4 students. It is a well maintained and new hostel. There is one canteen in our college, and there is a separate mess in the hostel.
Faculty: There are well-qualified teachers with minimum experience of 5 years. Their teaching quality is good, and they are polite. From many labs, students here are ready for fieldwork as they demonstrate well about the experiment, and they are trained to do an experiment on their own.
Other: I chose this course because now it's a demanding branch in the world, and also I like electronics from my 9th standard. I wish that our college should provide fieldwork or conduct a visit to any industry for relevant things for students for better improvement.
