The college provides scholarships to the students under the Indian government under the students; under SC, ST, and OBC categories. There are also scholarships for physically handicapped and economically / financially challenged learners. There is a fee-waiver scheme launched by the Maharashtra Government which is applied for meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections. Further, there are also cash rewards to the rank holders; the students can get loans from the nationalized banks for their education expenses.

Yes, you can get admission into the B.E. / B.Tech courses in Government College of Technology (GCT) also if you are not a student of Tamil Nadu; it does not matter where you are from or which country you complete your 12th from as long as the marks that one needs for the eligibility criteria, like the PCM marks.Admission will be based on marks scored in Class 12. The admissions will be under TNEA and the applicants are allowed from outside the state too. The academic credentials will be verified as per the norms of Tamil Nadu state in addition to the Class 12 marks score. Eligibility verification will be essential for the candidates of other states prior to counseling.It would be best to refer to the guidelines particular to TNEA and the GCT website for admission for students from Tamil Nadu state.
