I suggest students who want to go to this college to please select all subjects except Microbiology.
Placements: I passed out my Masters in Microbiology from Government E. Raghvendra Rao PG Science College, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, batch 2024. The campus placement program is not available, so their placement percentage is 0. But the reputation of the college is very good, so the private sector gives preference to their certificate and degree. The package details are not available for my course. Many food companies, beverage companies, and organic chemical companies are top recruiter companies. There is no internship program, but they run a research project program in their syllabus, which was good for skill development. The top roles for my course are Lab Technician, Lab Assistant, Lab Chemist, Microbiologist, Biologist, and many more.
Infrastructure: The Science College Bilaspur has personal hostels on campus, and other caste-wise hostels are available 500 meters away, which is great for the students. I suggest other students who want to get admission to this college please select all subjects except Microbiology.
Faculty: The professors are good, but the ad-hoc teachers are low or below average in performance. They hire inexperienced ad-hocs who are not professional in teaching, and they are not helpful for the students. In my course, some chapters were included from industrial knowledge, which was very helpful for industrial work. In my subject, 90% of students passed, and in some other subjects, 75 to 80% of students passed in semester and main exams.
Other: Sometimes, the professors behave like kings and think that they are supreme in the state. They are not helpful to the students.

Best government college in Bilaspur.
Placements: The best college for B.Sc. Computer Science Honours. In our branch, most of my seniors get into IITs and NITs. Some of them crack UGC NET and follow their teaching profession. Some students also get internships in foreign countries, and one of my seniors got an internship in the UAE.
Infrastructure: Our college is the best government college in Bilaspur. They provide us with facilities and infrastructure for digital classes, free Wi-Fi, computer labs, and smart boards. Our college has a library where there are lots of books, we go there and read some magazines also.
Faculty: The best facilities for students are available. Exam methods and other programmes are good. Our college has a semester system. Each semester has two internal projects and one assigned project. With assignments, we have to give presentations on other topics. Our computer science department's faculty are nice and helpful.

Placements: In 2012, only 10-15% of students were placed in my course. INR 1-2 lacs was the package offered in my course. Vedanta Resource Limited is one of the top recruiting companies for my course.
5-10% of students got internships.
The top roles offered in my course are sales executives.
Infrastructure: Labs are very attractive.
Classrooms are big.
The library has a lot of useful books.
A very big playground with a lot of facilities is there.
Hostel rooms are clean and spacious.
There are numerous facilities on the college campus.
Messes and canteens serve the best and most hygienic food.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach in a very well-mannered way and explain every point in a detailed manner. Yes, this course's curriculum is relevant. Yes, this course makes the student industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are not very difficult.

I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: It's a government college affiliated with Atal Bihar Vajpayee University, Bilaspur Chhattisgarh. Hence, it provides degrees of both bachelor's and master's. It conducts various workshops and seminars but as such placements are rare to general students except for the NCC.
Infrastructure: It offers various science courses such as a bachelor's degree in microbiology, biotechnology, geology, computer science, IT, BZC, and PCM along with BCA. It has botanical gardens and different laboratories for different subjects and degrees. Classrooms have digital projector systems. The labs are safe and filled with curriculum experiments. Library and e-library are also available. Hostel for different categories is also available.
Faculty: Teachers are great in their subjects and take good care of syllabus along with appropriate practical practice. Exams are semester-based. The exams are for 60 marks and the internals are for 15 marks. They are conducted twice in each semester and the assignment is 15 marks to make each subject of 75 marks.
Other: The college has additional curricula such as NCC, NSS, etc.
