I think it's needed reforms.
Placements: 95 percent of students are placed in our course. Not more than 10 LPA. 30 to 50 percent of students got internship with High Court of Bilaspur. I do not know about the company, I will understand the programme. Our top alumni become civil judges, advocates, junior researchers, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, not better than good. Classroom is awesome. Library is well maintained. We got fabulous professors and scholars, and office staff. Even the guard is very protective. They scolded, but they love students. Food quality is good. 10 rupees Swabhiman Thali is good for students, we can get proper dal, bhat, sabji. Sports ground is enough, but there are no players.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable but unconvincing with scholars. They only teach all about study, not even about life. Less practical skill, only study, not guaranteed for success in life. Our first exam will be there, so I do not know about the difficulty in semester exam. I think 50% makes the students ready for the justice industry.
Other: I belong to lower middle class. I want to change my society, but why will people follow me if I gain knowledge about the Constitution. So I will definitely change it. I decided to take B.A. LL.B., including politics, which is the backbone of the country, and sociology. These are my favorite subjects, and I want more and more. If there are a meeting hall for students, they could discuss their problems with friends. Definitely, it would become the most loved department.

M.A. in Economics - Batch of 2023

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
My honest review of my college.
Placements: As it is compulsory to do industrial training after the third year, I did an internship at Bhilai Steel Plant. I learned a lot in the plant and visualized the real-time application of all the theories being taught in the classes. It was not a paid internship, so I didn't receive a stipend, even though I applied for the internship all by myself. In the field of internships, the college lags far behind other colleges. The students are on their own. The only help I received was from our seniors and some professors.
Infrastructure: There is a separate hostel for 1st-year students and the senior hostel. The 1st-year hostel is good, but the senior hostels are not that great. However, the good news is that the hostels were renovated and most of the issues have been overcome. The fee for the hostel is reasonable. I am interested in Economics as a domain and want to pursue public policy. The student-to-teacher ratio is 1:5. The faculty is experienced and qualified as per UGC guidelines. The teaching methods were quite good, encouraged us to ask doubts, and showed interest in assisting during research work.
Faculty: The course is, no doubt, good and the syllabus is in accordance with the GATE syllabus and other competitive exams in the technical field, but being situated in a small city, the curriculum is mostly confined to the theoretical. There are three courses in each semester, and there is also an optional course to be pursued in the second semester. In each of the second-year semesters, four optional courses must be completed. Details about the courses can be seen on the college website. The end-term exams are usually problem-solving rather than essay-based (for most courses).

M.Sc. in Botany - Batch of 2024

5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, it was the best college for the M.Sc. in Botany course.
Placements: The amenities at our college were excellent. After graduation, many students found jobs with respected companies. Syngenta, BASF, and Bayer were some of the leading employers. Each year, about 85 to 92% of applicants were accepted into our college. For M.Sc. students studying plants, we offered great resources. Employers often filled top positions like botanist and ecologist. Many students secured internships.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was not available at our college. Labs were better when there were more PCs, but we had fewer classrooms because students studied less. The library had many books. The computer was easy to access for studying and finding textbooks. There was no food or restaurant on campus. Even water was not readily available there.
Faculty: In our section, we had one of the best instructors. Every student received advice on how to do well on the structured internal tests. They were the best in their field. The teaching method was engaging and effective. We continued to take part in the course. This curriculum likely prepared us for jobs. 90 percent of students passed the semester exams, which were not too hard.

Very inexpensive Central University.
Placements: Placements are very average. Our seniors are working in different production units as managers or QA QC managers. Some students are working in the F&D sectors. Students are placed through referral from the teachers. The highest package offered is 3.8 LPA, and the lowest package offered is 2.8 LPA.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi all over the campus with CCTV security. First aid kit and a hospital inside the campus. There are many grounds for different sports. There are hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. Most of the hostels are 3-seated and 2-seated. Mess food is average. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated. Labs are good, they have all the apparatus used in industry.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly educated and experienced. They clear our doubts through discussions. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready to explore a new world. There are two semesters in a year and each semester has two sessionals, which are conducted by the college.

It is a very good college in Bilaspur.
Placements: Placements are not as high as expected. This is a government college, so sometimes companies visit our college, sometimes not. Mostly Cipla, Mankind, and Aurobindo Pharma visited our college. In our branch, students are placed in different clinical trial sectors or in pharma vigilance. They get a salary between Rs. 25,000 and Rs. 30,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, it makes us feel good. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus with CCTV security. There are many hostels inside the campus. Hostels are 3-seated and 2-seated. Mess food is average. There are many grounds for different sports. There are cafeterias and canteen food inside the campus. Classrooms are spacious and digitally updated.
Faculty: Faculty members are good, they are highly educated and experienced. Mostly, they have done their Ph.D. from the top-most colleges in India. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready to explore a new world. There are two semesters in a year and each semester has two sessionals.

Very good college. Fees are very low.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. Very good location. There are parks and good hangout spots. Labs are spacious and have all the apparatus used in industry. Classrooms are good and they are digitally updated. Hostels are good, they are 2-seater. There are many canteens and cafeterias on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. They are highly educated and experienced. They all have done their Master's and PhD. The course curriculum is good, it makes us ready to explore a new world.
