As the second-most popular government engineering college in Kerala admission at Government Engineering College Barton Hill (GECBH) for B.E./B.Tech. programs is extremely tough For the general category candidates must have a KEAM rank of less than 4,000 and 50% in 10+2 PCM with Electronics and Communication being the hardest (closing rank ~3727 in 2024). KEAM counselling, document verification and fee payment are all part of the procedure. Competition is heightened by high demand, a restricted number of seats (360) and GECBH excellent placements and affordable tuition (INR 34,600/year), necessitating thorough exam preparation.
