Very good, excellent, just amazing.
Placements: Around 50% of my batch got placed. The average package was 2 LPA. The top company recruiting from our course was Cipla. Around 20 students got internships.
Infrastructure: Library facilities were available in the physical department. Instructors for sports were well-qualified and very hardworking. They gave a lot of support and encouragement, which boosted my interest. The canteen was available. The rate for tiffin and lunch was very good. The taste was also much better than outside food and was payable.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful in teaching and other curriculum activities like NSS, NCC, and sports and guidance programs. Instructors were also appointed. For exam purposes, they taught well. The exams were easy for me because every topic was clearly explained by teachers. Labs were also there. Every experiment was done by each student individually. For study purposes, the college had well-qualified teachers who taught well and were friendly. In my opinion, it was a very good college.

Government First Grade College, Channapatna
Placements: In government first-grade college, Channapatna, there is a placement cell which is not very active. Most of the companies will come to the college for the recruitment, but only one to 5% of the people will get the jobs. Because of the low preparation for the interviews, or it may be because of the government college, which is not able to provide the jobs for the students, but it is not very active.
Infrastructure: In this college, we can see the infrastructure, which is very good. They are providing a free Wi-Fi to the students, and the laces are also very well equipped and well maintained. Also, the classrooms are very precious, and the fans and lights in the classrooms are also very nice. And when it comes to the canteen, which is providing good food for the students at a very affordable price, and also college sports and games where you can play any game you want, you can join. Even the hostel, which is 1 km far from the college, is providing pretty good food for the students who are accommodating there.
Faculty: When it comes to teaching quality, it's very good. Teachers who are very well qualified and very friendly to the students, whatever the student asks, they will make sure the student understands. They give 100% to them. Also, they make the students industrial ready and give the presentation to the students to do present the papers or topic in the class by PPT. And semester exams are not that difficult; you can easily pass if you studied over a month before the exam.
Other: I was more interested in knowing things which are happening out of the country out of my border. I thought I would get to know all these things by studying this subject. That’s why I had to choose this course.

Government First Grade College, Channapatna.
Placements: We have a placement cell in our college that offers opportunities for our course, with about 50 to 70 companies recruiting students on placement day. However, most students won't get placed; I think only 10 to 15% of the students will find placements in our course. The average package will be between 2.5 LPA and 23 LPA. If you work hard, you can pursue roles like HR manager, data analyst, or team manager.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in the labs and classrooms, as well as in the library. Wi-Fi is freely provided to the students, and the classrooms are decent; we can sit comfortably on the benches. The library is very spacious, with two floors where you can find books on the first floor and study in a peaceful environment on the second floor. There is also a canteen in our college that offers good food at an affordable price. The quality of the food is also good.
Faculty: Semester exams in the college are not that difficult; you can pass by studying a week before the exam. The teachers are very helpful and qualified, and the teaching quality is good; we do not need to compromise on that. By writing semester exams, you can score around 60% to 85% on average. Many students have even scored 100 out of 100 in various subjects. To prepare for the industry, we have presentations and projects that involve visiting industries to gather information for our presentations.
Other: I want to work in a corporate company or any MNC, which is why I chose this school. I believe classes should be scheduled from the beginning to the end of the semester, as there are often no classes at the end. As for events, the campus has excellent road connectivity and surroundings, and they celebrate many festivals, ethnic days, and inaugurations. For connectivity, you can easily get to your home by bus or auto, and there is a railway station about 1 kilometer from the college. The college also provides scholarship facilities like Central and State Government scholarships.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2023

I am absolutely satisfied with the good campus surroundings, canteen, library, NCC, and NSS.
Placements: All the students score 60% - 90%. The highest score is 90% in our batch. A few irregular students just passed. No internship opportunities are provided. Students only join small companies to work for 1 month and submit the project to college. B.Com has high strength in our college.
Infrastructure: The library system is good and well stored with books. The canteen is not good. The campus has good infrastructure and is well-maintained by management. Sports equipment and a gym are also available.
Faculty: Permanent faculty members are more knowledgeable. They teach lessons properly and clearly. But permanent faculty members are few. However, guest faculty members are not good at teaching quality. Semester exams are more like a publicity stunt. The pass percentage is 35% and exams are very strictly conducted by the college.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a charted accountant. so I asked many seniors, and they suggested this college. I wish the college would add more permanent faculty members for improvement. They conduct classes properly and your total annual year fee is returned by SSP Scholarship.

Government first grade college, Channapatna.
Placements: Most of classmates were doing higher studies, and many of my classmates were working in schools as teachers. Some of the classmates were working in banks and some companies. All those who work get jobs by themselves only not by the college. Because there will be no internships or placements by the college.
Infrastructure: We had pretty good infrastructure. We had two buildings in the college, one was the new building which had all the facilities and also had the auditorium in a new building. This college had Wi-Fi facilities. The canteen was very affordable, and food will get to the students.
Faculty: Faculty members were very helpful, highly qualified, and very knowledgeable. Most of them had PhD, and they also made us industry-ready. They used to give presentations and made us do PPT presentations and visit a company or banks. The semester exams will be little straight, not that difficult. We will pass if we study pretty good.
Other: I chose this course because I was very fascinated about the literature and also we had the history in our UJI, and also as the economics where we could learn all the things which was happening surrounding us so that was why chosen the scores and events and the faced on the campus was so good that will be mini first on the campus like ethnic day, folk day inaugurations of clubs. The validity of clubs, and we had the scholarship which was given by the state government and also by the central government. We had the bus, auto, and private bus connectivity from the college.

Qualitative college in very less fees.
Placements: We don't have such good placements in our college. We have a placement cell, but most of the students who want to get a job through it find that only 2 to 3% of the students succeed. We need to search for jobs ourselves.
Infrastructure: We have a huge library with thousands of books, Wi-Fi facilities, good classrooms, and labs. The quality of the canteen food is good, and it is provided at an affordable price for students. There are also sports and games available.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and highly qualified, having completed their Ph.D. in their subjects. The teaching quality is very good, preparing students for the industrial area. Semester exams are not too difficult, though they can be a bit strict.
Other: I thought I would get a job soon by choosing this course, which is why I selected it. The events and campus environment are good. They also provide scholarships, especially for girl students and SC/ST students, as well as for boys through state scholarships.

The fee plan for the B.Sc. course (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science) in Government First Grade College, Channapatna, is around INR 4,000 annually, plus an exam fee of about INR 500. The low fee plan is convenient for students belonging to different economic groups.
