Perfect college for freshers,

Placements: The placement was very good during my academic year; around 100% of students were eligible for placement, and 80% of students got placed in various companies. The highest package was around INR 7-8 lacs per annum, and the lowest was INR 1.2 lpa, talking only about mechanical engineering. Tata Technologies, John Deere, Dana Pvt. Ltd., Bajaj, and many more companies recruited from this college. Nearly 85% were able to get internships from colleges, while others were provided internships from private organizations. Roles provided after competing for a diploma in mechanical engineering allow students to be assistant engineers or junior engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department was very well built, providing various facilities such as classrooms for different sections, drawing halls, cad cam labs, labs for engineering experiments for subjects related to applied thermodynamics, a canteen with a wide range of food, an auditorium, or a multipurpose hall. You can also feel a very good connection to nature. Hostel was not up to the mark. Only talking about boys hostels, the environment was not good enough that you would want to live there. I would suggest you find a good paying guest near the college. The canteen food that was provided was uneatable. I am urging you to join a private mess. Appropriate medical facilities are available. You can play various sports in the gym.

Faculty: This college has one of the best teachers I have seen through my journey. The teacher actually cares for your betterment and tries to help you when in need, but the work has to be done by you. The teacher has the best knowledge, which they can alter so the students from different backgrounds can easily understand the topics. The curriculum is revised every year to meet industry requirements. Semester exams are not that hard; even if you studied half-heartedly, you can score decent marks to be able to sit for an interview. The pass percentage is the same: 35%.

Candidate must have passed Secondary Examination or equivalent 10th class examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board. Applicants who have appeared in the secondary examination or equivalent examination of the year 2024 are also eligible for the Polytechnic Engineering course, but on the basis of this examination, it is necessary to pass it by the date of commencement of the first counselling. Note:Other conditions of AICTE may be applicable as specified by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Bihar. There is no maximum or minimum age limit. Medical examination will be done of selected candidate for admission. The Candidate will be given admission only if found eligible in the medical examination and Separate fee will be payable for health test. Candidate who are citizens of India and fall under at least one of the following residential categories are eligible for admission: (i) Whose parents/husband/wife are permanent/native residents of Bihar. (ii) Whose parents/husband/wife are refugees registered in Bihar. (iii) Whose mother/father/husband/wife are employees of Bihar Government. (iv) Whose parents/spouse are employees of Government of India posted in Bihar or employees of Government of India undertakings/institutions posted in Bihar. (v) Whose mother/father, husband/wife are employees of the United Nations and are currently posted in Bihar.
