Government Polytechnic, Bareilly, is the best college in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: Almost 70% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 8.9 LPA, the lowest is 4.8 LPA, and the average is around 6.5 LPA. Almost 70–80% of students get internships in my course. Companies like Maruti Suzuki, L&T, and Mother Son, etc., offer placements and OJT positions.

Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure are available in my department. It includes Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library. These are clean, comfortable, and have proper lighting and air circulation. Hostel facilities are average. The food quality is not bad. It is edible. A canteen is available on campus. Medical facilities are not available on campus, but are available at a nearby location. Sports and games facilities are available on campus.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, so everyone understands the topics easily. Generally, all teachers are Ph.D. or M.Tech qualified and are friendly to students. The teaching quality is good, making topics understandable in one go. Students are made industry-ready, but practical exposure should be improved.

Other: I was interested in this course since childhood and chose the mechanical branch. The best thing is that it is a core branch which will always have scope. The only requirement to excel in this course is to do more practical work. Almost 80–90% scholarships are provided by the government.

In our college, there are really good placements and good infrastructure.

Placements: 80-90% of students are placed in my course. The highest package is 4.2 LPA, the lowest is 3.2 LPA, and the average is 2.2 LPA. 75-80% of students get internships in my course. In our course branch companies, the highest package offered is 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The best facilities and infrastructure are available in my college. Classrooms are Wi-Fi loaded, and the library is available. There is good quality of the facilities in my hostel. The quality of food in the mess and canteen is average, not good. The medical facilities are available in my college.

Faculty: The teachers in my college are very helpful and of good quality. They are very knowledgeable and explain the topic clearly and instantly. 50-60% of students are ready for the industry. The college exams are very tough. Semester exams are conducted every 6 months, and the passing marks are 33-35%.

Other: I chose this course because this is the best course, and it's my dream course. The best thing is that it is very helpful in real life. Events are always organized every 2-3 months, and the campus crowd is available during college fests. Scholarships are available in my course. 50-60% fee is reserved in the student's bank account.

Best college in Uttar Pradesh.

Placements: I am choosing Govt. Polytechnic Bareilly, is the best polytechnic college in Uttar Pradesh because its education system is the best. The lower package is 2.4 LPA, the average is 4.4 LPA, and the highest is around 6.4 LPA, which is good.

Infrastructure: Facilities range from average to excellent. The campus is very large, but college hours are from 10 to 5, so not all activities are managed during that time. However, holidays and weekends are the best parts of college life and are very memorable. Wi-Fi is available; classrooms are fully Wi-Fi enabled, and the library and hostel are very good, for each room with 4 bed students, 2 fans are enough.

Faculty: Good faculty, always helpful, and the exam quotation for BTEUP board Bareilly is very money-friendly. Generally, lecturers are Ph.D. holders, they are fully knowledgeable and have very good teaching qualities. Students gain knowledge from the teachers and achieve very good faculty positions in industries.

Other: I choose this course because it is the best course in mechanical engineering.

College life to professional life.

Placements: 89 percent of students get hired from top companies such as L&T, JSW Steel, Wabtec Locomotive, GE Transportation, Suzlon, Maruti Suzuki, etc. There was a minimum package of 2.8 Lacs per annum to 4.3 Lacs per annum. Roles offered in job profiles are DET, JET Apprenticeship, Junior Engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: There was a library, Chemistry lab, Physics lab, computer lab, Science lab, and Wi-Fi corridors to enhance our knowledge. The quality of food in the mess is not too good but average. If we talk about games, there is a playground in which cricket, volleyball, and badminton can be played.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and cooperative. With the help of practice and practice, we are able to do work in the industrial area. A minimum of 33 percent marks are necessary to pass. With 75 percent attendance, all teachers are cooperative in solving any issues regarding studies or any issues.

Other: If you want good teachers and more fun during your college life, you can go for it.

Totally worth it if you want to take admission.

Placements: Various machines (in working condition), especially in machine shops (thanks to Azad Sir) for practical knowledge. The placement rate is 100% with an average package of 2 to 3 Lacs in companies like L&T and GE Aerospace. The supporting staff is good, and the location is convenient, around 10 km from Bareilly Junction.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite old but well-maintained. The library is open 24/7 for hostel students, classrooms are spacious with proper ventilation, and there are lots of trees on the campus. A big playground is available for various sports, and there’s a small cafeteria. Digital boards are also installed, and there are three hostels for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year students with average-quality mess food.

Faculty: As a mechanical student, the teachers in the Mechanical Department are very supportive and knowledgeable, especially Dr. Ashwani Sir and Arun Sir (HOD Mech.). Exams are always conducted late, around 1 month due to the BTEUP Board. The computer lab is equipped with the latest generation computer systems.

Other: As a car enthusiast, I chose mechanical automobile engineering because I gained extensive knowledge in cars and engines throughout the diploma. Various car engines are available for practical knowledge.

Very good college to get placed in a good company.

Placements: It's more than 90% placement record every year. The lowest package was around INR 1.8 lakh per annum and the highest was around INR 3 lakh per annum. The top recruiting companies are Tata and Maruti Suzuki. 75% got internships and the top roles were offered as junior engineers.

Infrastructure: As it is a government college, the infrastructure was not so good. But, the facilities are satisfying. Labs and classes are good and well-maintained. Medical facilities were also good. The food quality available in the mess is also good. Sports week is my favorite event at my college.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Also, they are very frank with students. They play cricket with us. Semester exams are not much difficult they are very easy to clear. Teachers are very good in their fields. They know about everything relevant to their subjects.

Other: I choose it because I love to know about automobiles and I love cars and I am interested in knowing how their production happens.

College is best for all the students.

Placements: In the college about 70% of the students got placements. The average package was 2-3 LPA ANM last year. Many companies like Bajaj, Mahindra, AK automatics, HFCL, HPPL and many more companies come to the college for placement. Students got an internship opportunity of 1 month during the course.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available on campus because the college is so old and has a place in the state. So all labs are available. The library is available to use regularly and many of the students use it. The college has a Wi-Fi connection. The hostel is good and the mess provides good food. There is available a separate canteen on the campus.

Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and experienced. So they teach well to students and focus all on the development of students. Teachers focus on practical knowledge also very well because practical knowledge is very important for industrial experience.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering in this college because there are many opportunities in this line and many types of companies also come for placement in college. On the other way, I am interested in the automotive field. Many events are celebrated in the college like republic day,15 August and farewell party.

I was absolutely satisfied because of faculty and good placements in 2018.

Placements: Every year, almost 80% of students get placed in college placements. The highest salary package offered was around 3 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 1.2 LPA. There were many companies that came for placements like Tata, Mahindra, General Electrical, Bajaj, and Ashok Leyland. Mostly, students got placed in apprenticeship or trainee roles. After successful completion of training, they may be hired directly by the company.

Infrastructure: We all know how government college infrastructure will be but the buildings are very old. Some of the blocks were recently built. There were labs for every subject. The classrooms were quite okay. The canteen was not too good but good for hunger relief. The library was very old and there were not sufficient books available for study.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and qualified. Most of the lecturers were old but there was a private faculty to teach whose teaching skills were very good. Curriculum of the BTEUP board was very old. According to me, it should be changed now according to this digital world. There were semester exams conducted every six months.
