Dissatisfied because of roads, infrastructure, and Wi-Fi.
Placements: 27% of students got placed after completing the 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering in 2024. The highest package offered in our course is 4 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average package is around 2.5 LPA. Khyber Cement KMR Ltd. Only 27% get internships from my course, and the company is Khyber Cement. The top roles offered are civil engineer, mechanical engineer, and Tourist Guide.
Infrastructure: First of all, the location of the college is very far from the main town, so there is no Wi-Fi available and no transport available. Labs are maintained a little bit, but the classrooms aren’t that extraordinary and the library isn’t that good. There is no hostel in our college. Only day scholars are admitted, so there is nothing to say about the canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games.
Faculty: Teachers are really qualified. They have the art of teaching. They have much knowledge to share. I can say that a little bit of the course curriculum is relevant, but not that much. Well, it depends on students, on what they want to achieve. Semester exams aren’t that difficult if you are taking classes regularly. The previous year pass percentage was 75%.
Other: I chose civil engineering because it has a lot of scope in the future. Of course, a lot of money. The best things about my course are that we can understand how construction is done and what the basic things are before doing any construction. Labs and practicals are there. No events at all, no fests at all, no campus crowd, and the crowd is almost zero. The campus surrounding is pretty nice with a local park nearby. Scholarships are there, unfortunately, no extracurricular activities.
