Diploma in Computer Aided Design Engineering - Batch of 2025

It's a waste of time and money.
Placements: There are 70 students in my class, but by the 6th semester, only 26 remained. After the 6th semester, only 10 students passed on their first attempt, while the others failed. A few companies visit our college for placements, but the offers are below average and not enough to sustain a living. Most students do not accept placements through the college. Many students also had to repeat their first year.
Infrastructure: College classrooms have the worst infrastructure ever seen, with them being dirty and having leakage of water everywhere in the rainy season. There's a little canteen which just offers samosas only, and most of the time it remains close. There is no Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good, but they don't take the problems of children seriously. The curriculum is also too old, BTEUP should upgrade it. There were few teachers of the mechanical department who got promotions, and they took transfers from here. Now, they don't even have qualified teachers for the mechanical department.
Other: I chose this course because I thought that I would gain some practical knowledge in mechanical engineering and also in CAD, but I was wrong. There are no events, the study environment is too crowded with poor students, and there is no alumni network. You will get a 100% scholarship if your attendance is 75% and above. There are no extracurricular activities.

Facilities are too good in this college .
Placements: This college placement is average in all branches instead of the IT branch . The branch placement package is high around 4 lacs per annum, which is the highest package in 2024. The lowest package in 2024 is 2 lacs per annum. The average package is 3 lacs per annum in this college . Many companies like HERO , BAJAJ, TATA, etc., arrive at the college at placement time. This college is good for a polytechnic diploma. I like this college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is available throughout the whole campus of the college. Labs are separately available for all branch students. Their mess quality is better in comparison to other colleges . Medical facilities are available all the time, 24x7 . A huge library is on the college campus. College infrastructure is good .
Faculty: All teachers are good in this college. They support students to solve problems. Their teaching methods are good . Course curriculum is set by the BTEUP board, Lucknow . Exams are conducted by the BOARD OF TECHNICAL EDUCATION LUCKNOW every semester . Minimum 33 percent marks are required in each subject to crack exams.

A decent college for polytechnic in Uttar Pradesh.
Placements: Most students got hired through job fairs. They did not get very high packages, but you could call them decent. There were no internships offered in this college. To my knowledge, the highest package in my batch was 3 LPA, and the average was between 2 and 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Labs were decent, Wi-Fi was not available, classrooms were also decent, and the library was good. There were no medical, canteen, or sports facilities. The girls' hostel was pretty good, but the boys' hostel was not good. The mess food in the boys' hostel was very bad.
Faculty: Teachers were good, qualified, and knowledgeable, but you had to be active for that. The course curriculum was also good and relevant. Semester exams were very easy to pass if you were even decent in studies. Almost all students passed the semester exams. The only problem was that they didn’t have any format to check our copies. If they wanted, they could pass you. If they wanted, they could fail you, and you couldn’t do anything.

My review for finding a good college.
Placements: Hi! This is a good college for a polytechnic diploma in Ghaziabad. This year I completed my diploma in IT from GPT Ghaziabad. Today I work in Noida for an IT company. This college placement is too good for other colleges. This college has the highest package of 4 lacs per annum, and the lowest is 1.4 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: College's building condition is good. A new branch add in my college from previous year. Classrooms are good with all facilities like lighting, fans, smart boards, etc. Computer labs with 75 computers are in college. Big campus is available in college. The hostel facility is good and mess is too good.
Faculty: All staff are too supportive. Teachers help students solve their doubts and problems. All teachers are highly skilled in teaching. Their teaching style is different. Semester exams are held every semester for all branches. This course curriculum is best. Minimum 33 percent marks are required for passing exams.

Diploma in Production Engineering - Batch of 2027

Good faculty and placement record.
Placements: Last year there was a record of 100% placement rate from production engineering.
The highest package was 4 LPA, the lowest was 1.4 LPA, and the average package was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HCL, Wipro, Hero, and TATA Motors. All the students from the production branch got internships in the final year. The top role offered in the production branch is supervisor.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of Government Polytechnic Ghaziabad College is not that good. This needs to be renovated. Labs are good; all the labs and library are working. There are 4 workshops in our college: welding, plumbing, carpentry and sheet metal. The hostel of the college is very good; rooms have enough space but the food in the mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and have teaching experience of many years. The course curriculum is very relevant and designed to make the students industry-ready. The difficult level of the semester exam is a little tough. The pass percentage of students in the semester was 60%.
Other: I chose this production engineering course because of my interest and the best thing about this course is that our college has a 100% placement rate from this course. According to me, this course is already the best; there is no scope for improvement in it. Our college conducts some events yearly and scholarships are also given to needy students.
