A short summary of Government Polytechnic College, Jhalawar.

Placements: Some companies like Hero, and Royal Enfield visited for placements. For computer science, there are no placements. No, internship but you have to do some training as it is necessary.

Infrastructure: There are so many labs and rooms college is big according to Diploma. In the first year, they have a physics and chemistry lab. Computer lab is okay. And in sports, a volleyball court is at the centre. Food is not available.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they are well qualified as well as knowledgeable. The exams are not much difficult if you study.

The brief information about my college .

Placements: All the students get the admission in this course their is no specific criteria for it and the highest package offered in our college in electrical engineering branch of 4.5 Lacs per annum and the average package is of 2lakhs. There is no specific internship programme held in our college they available us the online classes for doing internship .

Infrastructure: There is labs facility with digital projector and AC classroom and I have Library also but it js to small their is no space to sit and read the books their and no other books available like journals novels etc. Except the course related books only the hostel room is good but the washrooms is dirty and there is a government run mess indira gandhi rasoi yojana in our college and no canteen facilities, their are sports equipment present in our college but they didn't give us.

Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and Ph.D. holders they have enough knowledge to teach us and they teach in a nice way. Most probably the course did not focus on the industrial knowledge and there are other sub that are distinct from the course. The semester exams in college are no so thought that one can't even pass it.

Other: I choose this course to gain practical knowledge but it's not that efficient to get the proper industrial knowledge. The course curriculum should be improved there should be a 6month internship programme in the last semester to get aware of the industrial sectors, there no event and fest held in our college and the campus is also less crowded, surrounding of the campus is no good abd safe at night, their is many scholarship that the students get avail themselves in.
