Government Polytechnic College, Porbandar.
Placements: There were 20% to 30% of students are placed in the civil engineering branch. There was the lowest package is 3 LPA and the highest package is 4 LPA in civil engineering. In 2020 tata cement selected many students in our college. Many companies offer most Diploma engineer trainee roles.
Infrastructure: On our campus, all instrument required for the test is available in working conditions in our college. Classroom lighting facilities and all other required facilities are available. In the hostel, no canteen or mess facility and other facilities are available for students.
Faculty: There were all professors were very helpful during the course duration & after passout, I am still touched by many faculty members in my college. The teaching techniques are excellent in our civil branch. In my course duration, I visit many sites and industries to how to apply theoretical knowledge to the site and how going work on site. Their exam level depends on our work.
Other: Because I interested in civil engineering & best thing of my course is there is very helpful faculty & in my branch all instrument are in working condition and all test are done in my course duration.

I am really satisfied with the infrastructure of our college.
Placements: About 70% of students and above got placed from our course. The highest salary package of 3 LPA and the lowest salary package of 1.2 LPA are offered particularly for our course. L&T Rajkot and Tata are top recruiting companies here. Students who have 6.5 CGPA got internships. Top roles offered in mechanical through diploma are supervisor and operator.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is well developed with Wi-Fi, digital classrooms, labs and a library. The hostel is new, so it is in fine condition. But food is not available in our college. Monthly one or two sports activities are organised, and medical facilities are also available.
Faculty: Teachers here are professionals and also well qualified and knowledgeable. This course curriculum is relevant. Students are 60% ready for industrial work. Semester exams are tough to pass. The passing percentage is 33 marks out of 100 marks. If you are hardworking, then you will definitely pass.
Other: I chose this course because I really like to learn about machines and mechanics. If assignment work is less, then it is far better for our study. If students belong to SEBC/SC/ST caste, then they get a scholarship.
