It is a balanced college with good teaching staff members and average placements.

Placements: There is only 1 batch of electrical engineering that can contain 70-80 students, and from which 10 seats are reserved for direct second-year students. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPa. The average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top Recruiting companies like Bajaj Auto Ltd Pune, GE India Pune, and L&T construction Mumbai visit the college for placements. In 2019-2020, only 11-12% of students got an internship in Bajaj Auto Ltd Pune, GE India Pune, and Flex India Pune. Various roles were offered from supervisor to skilled worker in the above-mentioned companies.

Infrastructure: There are various average facilities like computer labs, electrical labs, a good Canteen, library, stationery shop inside the college, Xerox machine, classrooms, sports, smart interactive boards, normal chalk boards, workshops, and cold water purifiers. The hostel entrance is littered and spitted. The quality of food served at the canteen is best. The canteen serves various dishes like Poha, samosa, Vada pav, etc. It also serves meals like chapati bhaji, masala rice, lemon rice, etc. There are just standard medical facilities. It provides only cricket and kho-kho games, and no other games are encouraged here.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in our college. They are well qualified as well as knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, and teachers put their full effort inot teaching. The course curriculum is relevant, and the curriculum changes every 5 years. Students get to work in labs, so the students become industry-ready. The 1-semester exams are easy, the second semester exams are a little hard, the third is harder, the fourth semester is even hard, and the fifth is a little easy than the fourth. The sixth semester exams are hard. The pass percentage is about 60-70%.

Other: I have chosen this course because I live in Ratnagiri, and my father works in Konkan Railway. As the Konkan Railway is electrifying through the route, there is a possibility of more recruitment of Electrical Engineering students. The best thing I think about our course is that I can experiment with the teaching in my own home, like repairing a fan, mixer, etc. The course gets improved automatically after an interval of 5 years. Not many events are held other than send off or welcome new students or annual day. The campus crowd is best. There are no bullying or such activities.
