Government Science College is the best source of education.

Placements: Government Science College is a government run autonomous body that provides the best courses in all subjects of science. This college offers an internship program run by the government through which students are involved in curricular activities.

Infrastructure: All the classrooms and hostels are neat and clean, with high-quality classrooms equipped with Wi-Fi. The college canteen provides quality food, and sports events are conducted on a regular basis under the guidance of sports teachers.

Faculty: The teachers at our college are highly qualified, experienced, and knowledgeable. They are exceptional educators, and since the college is government-run, the pass rate is low due to strict paper checking and challenging exams.

Other: I opted for a B.Sc. in Zoology as my Bachelor’s degree, and the course is highly informative. I aspire to become a college lecturer and am currently continuing my studies at the Master’s level.

I'm satisfied with good teachers, placement, and facilities.

Placements: Placements at this college are few, with less than 10% of students placed. Internships are in good numbers. Students have to do masters for good placement. As I completed my B.Sc. only that's why there are few placements. Companies like TCS visit for placement very few times.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average not so good not so bad. Wi-Fi is available. Computer labs are very good, labs are in average condition, and library is also good. Hostel are also in average condition. There is no ragging so students can stay in the hostel conveniently. Sports are also good.

Faculty: Teachers are very brilliant. Their way of teaching is very good because they have more than 20 years of experience. Course curriculum is quite relevant to industry-ready. Exams are moderate level not so much difficult. Pass percentage is more than 90%.

Everything is good in this college. I recommend students visit and take admission here.

Placements: Above 50-70% of students get placed in college. The highest salary package offered is 1 LPA. IT companies and science and technology companies visit the college for placements. About 70-80% of students got internship. They offer a role of students interest and subject wise.

Infrastructure: Our college provides facilities like a gym, speed Wi-Fi, library, computer labs, sports areas, walking space, games source, etc. The hostel is amazing. Our warden is good and cool in the hostel. A mess serves delicious food and drinks. For more food variety, there is a canteen. It also has medical services, a sports complex club, and a campus for walking.

Faculty: In our college, teachers are excellent, talented, and knowledgeable. They explain easily to students. They talk friendly with students. They solve students' problems in the subject and give answers to the questions. They make students ready for industry.

Other: I am pursuing a B.Sc. in botany course because I am interested in searching about plants. In the future, it will be more developed, so the college should advance this course. More events are organised by students and teachers. Our college gives a scholarship to students. Extracurricular activities are also conducted here.

Dissatisfied with the college.

Placements: Placement in this college is not considerably. Though it has a Swami Vivekanand placement cell, companies have not been coming to this college for the past few years. Recently, two postgraduate students were placed in an IT company but that too is not a well-known company. A placement day was organized five months ago but I didn't find it useful as the companies were not well known and the salaries were not that substantial.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but the classrooms are not that good as compared to other colleges. But recently, new furniture and washroom renovation work has started. Now, there is a digital library, and the library has been renovated. The canteen facility is good; there are two playgrounds. It was equipped with a gym facility as well as a badminton court. Sports events are pretty good here. NCC and NSS are also there, where students can participate in many activities.

Faculty: The faculty is average—not that good. They don't focus on students. They are just like they perform their job and let the students do whatever they want. Strictness is not there. Semester exams are not that difficult. One can easily score above 70 percent.

Other: It is a government college, so anyone whose financial condition is poor can take admission into this college.

Placements: 80 percent of students are placed in college. The highest package is INR 34 lacs in the college, the average package is INR 20 lacs, and the lowest package is INR 2 lacs in the college. The top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Wipro, TCS, SBI, Flipkart, Amazon, Infosys, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very good, and the best facilities are available in the college. Wi-Fi facilities are not available at the college. Digital classrooms and a big library are available at the college. Hostels are available at the college. Sports and games are available at the college.

Faculty: Teachers facilities are very good, and knowledgeable faculty are available in the college. Extracurricular activities are provided, like industry work in the college. Semester exams are very difficult at the college. 40 to 50 percent of students pass the semester exam at the college.

The college is excellent.

Placements: In our college, placements were excellent. We never expected such a large salary package at this college because placements are increasing year after year. Around 70% of students were placed this academic year. Each student had at least two or three offers before the end of their studies. The average salary package offered was 1 LPA to 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our classes were huge and well-equipped. There were laboratories, a large library, a zoology museum, and a huge playground. In our hostel, a playground and a gym were available for hostel boys. The food served at the canteen was average. There was an auditorium.

Faculty: I am in 3rd year of college, taking a B.Sc. in computer applications, math, and geology. Our teachers were excellent and their teaching quality was outstanding. The course curriculum was relevant and up-to-date. With these academic studies and teaching, we needed to get a job as soon as possible. In general, our college had excellent faculty members and curriculum.

Other: It is the best college in Jabalpur for B.Sc.
