An exclusive college for women and girls.
Placements: About 46% of students from our college got placed. The salary package offered was 3 LPA. The top recruiting companies of our college were iron factory and zone company. Stenographer is the most offered job role. This course is more sought after in government sectors. Placements for the computers background and commerce background are good and many people got placed. We had different placement cells for different departments. During the placements, lectures guided us to crack the interview.
Infrastructure: The college is endowed with renovated hostels, medical support systems along with physiotherapy centre, modern gymnasium, swimming pool, a huge parking facility (available to both students and faculty), air-conditioned sports complex, and playground of international standards. A complete smoke and vehicle-free zone. The college provides an eco-friendly environment to its students with the latest initiatives of solar heating, rainwater harvesting, paper recycling and other green initiatives. The college has taken measures to address the need for vigilance and security. The campus is CCTV-enabled to cater to the safety requirements of a well endowed and equipped campus receiving a giant footfall.
Faculty: Faculty members were of very good quality and helpful. They mingled with the students well. The course is curriculum-relevant. The semester is not difficult but one should study well and the pass percentage is 60%. The industry provides inputs to colleges to frame the curriculum to suit their needs, based on which colleges train students. These courses not only make students understand how the industry works, but also help organisations train students for their needs.
Other: I chose this course because I learned stenography and typing from this course. I also chose this course because I learned about how to manage official work. All things are better, they need to improve communication skills class and personality development class. Minimum of events taking place in our college but good. Wi-Fi connectivity is on full campus. The scholarship is provided by state and central government to minority students. Extracurricular activities are also available for different students from different courses.
