Review of Govt. Girls College, Dewas.
Placements: Students placed are less because it has only 20% job placement. The salary package is between Rs.10,000 to 15,000 per month. No companies come for placement instead students had to search for jobs. Top companies are Tata, Prestige, etc. No student got an internship as it is not necessary. The top role offered is that you can prepare for the civil service exam.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure available are good as it is a government college. There is no facility for Wi-Fi. Classrooms are well-organized and have good furnished quality. Library is very large but no one uses it as there are no relevant books to study. There is no hostel facility.
Faculty: Teacher are very helpful. They always help girls and are grateful to all. They are well-qualified teachers and were opt by government exams. Their teaching quality is so good and explains very well. The course is not curriculum-related, it is helpful in civil service examinations. Semester exams are not difficult, I can easily solve them in a given time. Pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this course because many of our seniors suggested it. The best thing is that you can study parallel to another government exam that you want to give in the future. I wish that this course must be thought in English equally as it is thought in Hindi. There are no events organised, only sports activities are held. Campus is a bit crowded. Connectivity is good with public transport and other. In my college only I got a state government scholarship benefit.
