Candidates seeking admission to GHIMCT via NCHMCT JEE 2025 must sit in the counselling rounds. For this, they need to pay INR 40,000 as a participation fee for NCHMCT JEE counselling 2025. To be more specific, When appearing for the counselling round, candidates need to pay a registration fee of INR 2,000. This fees is non refundable. Other than that, candidates will also have to pay INR 40,000 as the participation fess. The amount of INR 40,000 is adjusted as the academic fee for the first semester of the hotel management course. This amount includes INR 2,000 which is the counselling fee. Through centralised online counselling of NCHMCT JEE 2025, shortlisted candidates will be allotted seats in 21 Central Institutes of Hotel Management, 27 State Government Institutes of Hotel Management, 01 Public Sector Undertaking and 29 Private Institutes of Hotel Management.
Candidates are informed that admission to BSc Hospitality and Hotel Administration course is done strictly on the basis of a candidate’s All India Rank (AIR) in NCHMCT JEE. There will be no separate group discussion or interview round conducted for admissions. Basis a candidate's rank and minimum qualifying marks, NCHMCT JEE cut-offs are prepared.
Guru Nanak Institute of Hotel Management (GNIHM) was founded in 2005 in Kolkata, West Bengal. It is affiliated with the West Bengal University of Technology and the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
The institute conducts its application process offline. Eligibility for direct admission is granted to candidates who have secured a rank in the NCHMCT JEE.
For admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programs, the institute considers the results of the JET examination, which it conducts. JET is an objective type entrance test comprising 120 questions with no negative marking. Admission selection is based on the performance in this examination.
GNIHM JET Exam is conducted four times in a year. JET is conducted by GNIHM in the month of January, April, May and June. GNIHM JET 2026 will be held in several phases throughout the year. The exam will be held in online mode as well as, at designated test centres. Candidates can register for GNIHM JET 2026 as per the next slot available in a month. GNIHM JET comprises of a total of 65 questions. Out of this number, 60 are multiple-choice in nature and the remaining five are subjective/descriptive questions.
