It's a very good college .

Placements: In instrumentation technology about 40 seats are available each year so that students can understand well in a quiet environment and teachers are really helpful too. In instrumentation engineering students gets placement in oil industries such as one's located in duliajan. As price of Wales is the 1st institute in northeast so the environment to study in this college is really good. Teachers are helpful, classrooms are good and many more.

Infrastructure: In our department of instrumentation engineering there are spacious classrooms available. A workshop specifically for instrumentation engineering students is also made in it's own building. Library and computer labs are also there so as to make it easy for the students to understand anything they need to learn to be their better self.

Faculty: Yes teachers are helpful. The teaching quality is good compared to other institutes teachers. The course curriculum for every branch is revelent and they do get jobs after completing college. Semester exams are quite difficult but the students do practice and study hard for it. Mass percentage is or CGPA of most students are around 7-10.

Other: I choose this course because it has limited seats and it's quite challenging as I like challenges so I took this course. The best thing about my course would be learning about new things each and every day. Everything is fine in here. Events like college week and festivals are also celebrated in college.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE.
