Awesome college. It is kind of good for college placements!
Placements: It is awesome. The environment is pretty good, and the friends are also good. The teachers, the environment, friends, etc., are all awesome! The lowest package offered is 3 LPA, and the highest package is 10 LPA; it is quite decent. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Dalmia, NRL, etc.
Infrastructure: The faculty members are very friendly. The infrastructure is average. Lab facilities and other facilities are quite good. The college library is a good environment for gathering a bunch of knowledge from different books related to the course and other fields! During college events, we can also participate in various kinds of games and activities.
Faculty: The course curriculum makes us, the students, ready for any kind of industrial field. The semester exams are of medium level. The passing percentage is 30%. It is helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty good and helpful, and our syllabus gets updated every year.
Other: The college environment is good, and I wanted to pursue this course because I was interested in it!

Everything is average like library, course, infrastructure.
Placements: 100% of students got placed in my course. The highest salary is Rs. 30,000 per month. The lowest is Rs. 9,000 per month. Top recruiting companies are Marico, Subros, Cummins, etc. Almost 40% of students got internships in many private sectors. No one got government internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The campus is good and clean. Workers are clean. We don't get Wi-Fi. But we got labs and a library for the whole college. In 2022, there were no girls' hostels. Only a boys' hostel existed. Medical facilities are quite good like the first aid box.
Faculty: One thing to say is we have nice faculty members in our department. They are so humble and student-friendly. We have everything like great teaching and life saviour hacks. It is almost good. They are educated and qualified. Semester exams are quite tough but easy for those who are talented.
Other: I don't recommend this course for juniors. I chose this automobile course just because I wanted to do mechanical engineering. But I got low marks as I belong to the general caste. Automobile and mechanical have almost the same syllabus but in Assam state government, they do not recruit automobile diploma students for government jobs. They only take mechanical ones. Government sectors are none in Assam. Job opportunities are less. That's why I don't recommend this diploma.

Awesome place to learn skills and gain technical knowledge of different engineering departments.
Placements: The institute is perfect for technical education. All the teachers are very supportive. All practical tools that are needed for experiments are available. Almost 90 percent of students are placed in companies like SUBROS Ltd, ANAND Automotive, and Cummings.
Infrastructure: Awesome infrastructure. The workshop has been upgraded to the next level. New teachers are recruited for the Turner workshop. The canteen is also good, and the food is always fresh. There is also a medical dispensary for students, and Wi-Fi is available in all the laboratories.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and friendly. Their teaching style is so good. The passing percentage is 33 percent. Exams are of moderate level. In order to score good marks, you have to gain a good knowledge of the important topics. Also, you have to be good in the practical classes.

The college is the oldest technical institute of North East.
Placements: Most of the diploma-level jobs in Assam are filled by majority of the students from this Institute. Almost 70% students get placed. The highest package is 12 Lacs and the lowest may go down to 2 Lacs. Top recruiting companies: Maruti Suzuki, Wipro, Tata, OIL, etc. Almost 99% of students got internship when applying in companies like OIL, ONGC, Railways, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities in the hostel are fairly good. Food is good, and the water supply is adequate. Recently, hostels have also been opened for girls. Anyone from outside of Jorhat can opt to stay in hostels instead of spending lots of cash in PG. Field is available for games and sports.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and very experienced. Teaching quality is top-notch. Course curriculum is definitely relevant, as those taught in classes are helpful in industrial applications too. Semesters are easy for those who study well. Pass percentage is almost 95%.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our college, placements are below average. In the previous 2–3 years, there were no campus placements. This is due to the post-COVID scenarios. Top recruiting companies like OIL, ONGC, Cummins, etc., visit our campus. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is more than average. There is an old heritage building and all others are newly constructed buildings. There are two hostels, one for girls and one for boys. The condition of the laboratory and workshop is pretty decent but Wi-Fi is not available.
Faculty: Faculty members are all highly qualified, experienced, and supportive. The course syllabus was reviewed and revised in 2018 to ensure that students are industry-ready, but there is still work to be done on the course curriculum. The semester exams are average. The pass percentage is 90%.
Other: There are 7 branches of engineering in this institute. I show an interest in the mechanical branch. Every year, our college organises cultural festivals.

It is the college for hardworking and job seeking students.
Placements: 50% of students get placed easily on campus or off-campus. The highest package offered is 8 LPA, the lowest package is 2 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are OIL, ONGC, APDCL, IOCL, ALGCL, Siemens etc. Almost all the students get internships from college.
Infrastructure: Unfortunately, there is no Wi-Fi on campus or in hostels. The buildings are quite good. Some of the rooms are air-conditioned. Two computer laboratories, one auditorium and one digital conference hall are available. The quality of hostel mess food is average.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They are very friendly with students. The course curriculum was revised in 2018, and it makes the students industry-ready. The course is not so difficult. The pass percentage is around 90%.
Other: The construction sector is growing rapidly in India, so I chose civil engineering to get a job soon. The teaching methods should be more digital. An institute week is celebrated for a week every year. A DJ night is also celebrated.
