I am satisfied with this nice college.
Placements: The ratio of students getting placements from our course is very less as our course is mostly based on teaching or writing career. Although some students get placed as content writers or executives. Around 60-80% of students got placed in good companies like Indigo. The biggest company visited our college till date is TCS. Students get a salary package of around 3 LPA - 5 LPA. Roles such as customer executive, manager, accountant, etc., are the job roles offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good in this college. There is no hostel facility in the college. Although other facilities like library, canteen, laboratory, computer lab, etc., are available on campus. The classrooms are of a good size where around 80-90 students can easily sit. Most of the classrooms have projectors to make learning more interesting and informative. The canteen food is good and hygienic. You can get good quality food at a low price.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good, friendly, and knowledgeable. They treat us almost like a friend. They are very much supportive and helpful. The teachers are highly qualified. Most of them have Ph.D. in their respective fields. This course curriculum is absolutely relevant for me. I am sure this will definitely help me in my further higher studies. The semester exams are easy to moderate in the starting semesters and gradually it shifts from moderate level to high level. Although it's not that tough to score well. Regular reading and detailed notes will definitely help to score well in the semester exams.
Other: From my childhood, I had a great fondness for literature so I choose this course to further pursue this subject as a career for teaching. The campus life is good so far. In the starting year, we got a freshers party in the college organised by the students union where we enjoyed ourselves a lot. Apart from this, different events such as blood donation camps, AURA (Annual fest), webinars, seminars, etc., were organised on campus. Improvements like conducting weekly seminars and special lectures regarding important topics of literature would be highly beneficial for the students.

Good to enroll. You will not get disappointed.
Placements: My course is almost academic in nature. The course prepares us to pursue a teaching or writing career in future. So it doesn't have that much scope in corporate world. That's the reason the number of students getting placed from my course is quite low. Although the college placement record is pretty good. Many students get placement in good companies from different departments like B.Com. Even companies like TCS have also came to our college for placement. The percentage of placement is almost 80-85% or sometimes even 90%. The average salary is from 4-7 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. The college has total 4 floors with 8-9 classes in each floor. Most of the classes have projector installed to make learning experience more better. Facilities like library, laboratory, canteen, computer lab etc. Are available. The canteen's food quality is pretty good and hygienic and available at a very affordable price. Apart from all these our college also have a small play ground where students can play basketball, badminton etc. In their free time.
Faculty: Our teachers are almost like our friend. They are very much friendly and helpful. Their way of teaching in pretty good. All the professors are highly qualified. Some of them are Ph.D. holders with great amount of knowledge. Yes, this course is relevant for me as I want tobe an a English teacher or professor in future and pursue higher studies in future. The semester exams are quite tough as the syllabus is huge but it's not that difficult. Students can easily score above 80-90% by following notes and daily classes with continuous reading of the texts.
Other: I am always a literature lover from my childhood. I love books so I choose this course to study literature and make a career in this. I would like if our college conduct more webinars and events related to literature to make it more interesting for students to learn. There are lots of events which happens in our college such as Blood donation camps, freshers party, Annual fest known as 'AURA ' where every student can participate in different events like dancing, singing etc.

Pretty satisfied. Good to go.
Placements: The placement cell of our college is pretty good. Almost 80-90% students of our college get placement is good MNCs like TCS, indigo etc. With a package of around 2-7 Lacs. Sometimes it also crosses 8 lakh per year. However, in my course the percentage of students getting placed is pretty less as my course in mostly academic in nature rather than for corporate world. The course prepare the students for higher studies in future and most of the literature students aims to go for a teaching or writing career in future.
Infrastructure: The college is full of all the required infrastructure and facilities like computer labs, laboratory, library with ample amount of books, one small sports ground and canteen. The canteen food is also hygienic and every cheap in price. The classrooms are pretty good in size with a projector installed in each and every class for a good learning experience. Although the college doesn't have any hostel accommodation.
Faculty: The teachers are very much helpful and they treat us like a friend. They encourages us and motivates us every time. Their teaching quality is also good. They teach us each and every topic with a deep background study which helps us to understand everything in a better way. Each professor is highly qualified and most of them are Ph.D. holders. Yes, this course is absolutely relevent for me as it prepares students for higher studies in literature and go for a good teaching profession. The semester exams are quite difficult as the syllabus is quite huge but students can easily score if they follow a proper routine and follow the notes given by the professors or tuition teachers.
Other: I choose this course as I am a bookoholic. I love reading books and English literature is also about learning literature and diving into the imaginative fictional world. I want to go for higher studies and be an English literature professor in future. Nothing much is needed but it would be more better if our department arranges more seminars and workshops related to key topics. Events such as freshers party, annual fest, sports, blood donation camps and different other events were arranged every year. Among which the annual fest is the most exciting one where everyone is given the opportunity to explore themselves and showcase their talents.

Review of Heramba Chandra College.
Placements: The placements facility in our college is decent. Around 80-90% of students get placed in MNCs with a good amount of packages. The highest salary package offered ranges from 4 LPA - 5 LPA, and the lowest salary pacakge offered is around 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Indigo Airlines, TCS, ITC, etc. Around 12% of students get placed in TCS and ICICI.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is decent. Laboratories, classrooms, and libraries are well maintained. The classroom is huge with a projector installed in every class for a good and best learning experience. The college library is also is good and has ample amount of books to read. Students will get every book they want to read. The college canteen is the best part of the college where they get the best quality food at a cheap price such as cheese sandwiches at just Rs 25, fried rice, and chili chicken at just Rs 30. Apart from it our college also has a small sports complex where basketball and football are frequently played by the students in their free time.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are very helpful and friendly. Even after college they discuss and connect with students through WhatsApp to help them regarding their studies which is the best thing I like about them. The teaching quality is also good. This course is relevant as it will help me pursue Ph.D. and will help me to be a good professor in the future. The semester exams are tough. Students have to attend classes regularly to score and follow the notes given in the class. The percentage of passing is around 75-85%.
Other: I opted for this course, because of my likeness with literature. This course helps students to not only learn literature but also help to build psychology to think introspect and write. To improve more there should be some live performance within students related to novels and stories for better understanding and experience. In our college union arranges all kinds of fests, freshers parties, and different camps like blood donation camps.

Placements: In our course, there are not many opportunities in the private sector as our course is most suitable for the teaching profession. Every year top-notch companies visit our college to hire freshers for jobs. Around 80% of the students get placements. About 90% of students get placed with high salaries, while about 60% of students get placed with decent salaries. Almost 25% of the students get internship opportunities in good companies. So far ITC is the most topmost company which visited our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent here. The size of the classrooms is good. Every classroom is equipped with a projector, which is great. Facilities like a library, medical, labs, sports area and canteen are available here. The best part of the college is the canteen, where you can get high-quality food at an affordable price.
Faculty: The faculty members here are pretty good. They are very much helpful and supportive. Their teaching method is pretty decent. They make concepts very easy to understand and learn. For the teaching profession, they make you ready. The semester exams are not much difficult or not very easy. It depends on your hard work, which will make the exams hard or easy for you.
Other: I chose this course because my interest is increasing in learning and exploring English literature and language as this subject is all about learning and exploring. Every year our college organises blood donation camps for needy students and an annual fest where every student gets a chance to showcase their talent and explore themselves.

Placements: The college has the placement facility. Every year, many companies come to the college to recruit for the several posts. Many of the students have selected for the post because of their excellent credibility and guidance of our college. Thus Heramba Chandra college is a commerce college, mainly so, the companies select the very qualitative candidate for their post. But sometimes the students from another stream also selected for a variety of posts. Every year, the minimum 25% to 30% students gets placement.
Infrastructure: Heramba Chandra college is one of the best colleges in South Kolkata and West Bengal. Not because of their teacher's excellent teaching & guidance, but for the college's infrastructure. The college is commerce and arts-based subject college. Regarding science subject, there is economics, geography, mathematics, & statistics. So, the college has the labs for these subjects. The college has a Wi-Fi zone for the students centrally. It has two libraries one is seminar library, and the other is the central library. The college has about 40 to 50 classrooms. The classrooms are big enough. The average capacity of each classroom is 50 people. The college has one gallery room also. The college has a ground, where many activities take place. The college has organised sports and blood donation camp. The college has the smart class system. There is projection system available. The college has a magazine, where the students & teachers publish their writing. It also has the departmental magazine too. Where the departments individually publish their writings. The college has a cheap canteen (cheap in price, but great in food).
Faculty: The teachers of Heramba Chandra college are very helpful. They guided the students with their full knowledge. Knowledge enriches the teaching quality. In this college, the method of teaching is a little bit different. In maximum colleges, the teaching method is the one-sided method. Whereas in Heramba Chandra college the method is two-sided. The teachers & students interact with each other. It has the smart class and tutorial coaching. The college has 3 (three) departments - arts, commerce, and science. The curriculum of the college is useful. Yearly, it has three examination system. Open book examination, test examination, and the final examination. And overall the year, the college organises many kinds of seminars by the teachers and students both. It has the uniqueness. The college has organised an excursion tour by individual departments every year to enrich the education system.
