Good infrastructure, value for money.

Placements: Many students don't go to the job field after graduation instead they go for higher studies and if they want to get a job they get placed as freshers in banks or corporates, mainly as sales executives. The top recruiting companies are TCS and HDFC banks.

Infrastructure: Economics doesn't require any labs but if anyone is in geography for them there are labs. The classrooms are good, neat and clean we have big libraries. There are teams of football, cricket and many sports activities. Intercollege or intercollege sports events happen. Food is good in the canteen also and cheap.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful they are like friends. Economics is a very relevant subject in today's world if you do higher studies you will get a good job. The examination is held by Calcutta university so it depends not on the college whether it will be easy or not.

Other: This college has annual fests, it has many sports events going around in college and the most exciting part is that every department held annual excursions with the students which makes the departmental bonding very good and is very fun.

I am satisfied with the infrastructure and faculty members. Overall, it is a great college.

Placements: Our economics batch is comprised of 20 students. About 15% of students got internships from our course at HDFC Bank, YES Bank, SBI, etc. The highest salary package offered is between 5 LPA and 10 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are pretty decent. There are blackboards and projectors. There are smartboards in some classrooms. The surroundings and atmosphere are good. The food available in the canteen is tasty, hygienic, and inexpensive.

Faculty: All teachers in our department are highly qualified and well-educated. They are very friendly and helpful. They solve our doubts when we ask. They know how to teach, which any well-educated teacher can do. It's a pretty good thing for us.

Absolute value for money, with the perfect student friendly ambience with absolute positive outcome

Placements: There is a seperate chamber for placement where students are trained how to present themselves, many well known companies visit our college, and almost 80% students gets placed. The companies offer 20-40 thousand salary per month, which is quite good.

Infrastructure: Our college does not provide hostel facilities but we have a beautiful canteen, a small ground, 2 libraries, a remarkable auditorium, big classrooms. We have our college football team. There are 3 different labs. The canteen provides delicious food at very cheap rates.

Faculty: The teachers in this college are the best both in terms of qualifications and in terms of behaviour. They know students by name. The attendance during the course is a must, because marks are awarded according to it. The level of teaching which is provided make the students industry ready.

The college has bad placements and average infrastructure.

Placements: Please don't expect any good placements from this college. All you get are sales jobs with only 2-3 LPA, and that's the highest package here. It's not at all fruitful. No good guidance is provided for internships.

Infrastructure: The teachers in our economics department are genuinely good. They love to teach and never miss classes. The infrastructure is old as you'd expect from a government college. The canteen is average. Sports faculty are not available. The auditorium is good and recently renovated.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality can be rated 10 on 10. The course is very relevant. The pass percentage is 33%. Semester exams are moderate. Attendance is strict, so it is better not to skip your classes. The course doesn't make you industry-ready at all.

Other: Fests don't exist here. The union has immense control.

Overall, our college is the best.

Placements: Our college is very good because many companies like Indigo, etc., visit the college to offer placements. Almost 75% of the students got placed. Many MNCs visit the college.

Infrastructure: Our geography department labs are very good. We work on many machines like prismatic compass, theodolites, barometer etc. Our central and departmental libraries have many books.

Faculty: Our faculty members are very good. We can gain a lot of knowledge and learn many strategies. They work on providing the best education for us. Overall, the college is good, and we are proud of our college.

Other: Our campus is very good with many trees, basketball court etc. We get SVMCM scholarships for education.

Review of Heramba Chandra College.

Placements: There were hardly any placements. Only two firms visited our college that too with BPO level jobs. Upskilling workshops are not conducted here.

Infrastructure: It is a state-sponsored college, so the fee was extremely low, which was always a good thing. The library was huge with all the necessary books. Sports facilities lacked very much as there was no ground and no gym. The common room was in a dilapidated state.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were good, competent and helpful. However, the course is very much oriented to academics. We do not gain industry-level skills. It is very difficult for us to score marks which put us at a disadvantage in the job market where we compete with the engineers.

Other: I had an amazing experience at this college.
