HCAS offers admission to the MSc programmes which are offered in five specialisations. The duration of the MSc programme is two years, divided into four semesters, it is also offered with some add-on courses some of which are Cyber Security, Web Design and Data Science.

Given below are the eligibility criteria for the course along with the HCAS MSc fees:

Total fee: INR 51,000 to INR 1.03 lakh.

Eligibility: A pass in graduation with Physics, Mathematics and English or equivalent as compulsory subjects from a recognised board. Preference will be given to candidates who have passed on the first attempt.

Note: Total fee is calculated based on annual/ semester fee available, hence is indicative.

HCAS Chennai MSc Scholarships 2025 (H2)

Scholarships are available at HCAS Chennai for students pursuing MSc and other UG and PG courses. Scholarships are primarily awarded based on merit and need. the scholarship is awarded mainly based on merit and need. The college offers fee rebates under need-based scholarships. Scholarship recipients are students who cannot afford the cost of education or belong to socioeconomically backward sections of society in which family income plays a significant role in determining eligibility.

A minimum score of 90% in the CBSE is required, or a minimum score of 95% in the final examinations of the state board.
Based on academic performance, 50% of the hostel fee will be waived for second and third-year students
Tuition fee waiver of 50% and hostel fee waiver of 100% for first-year students.

Overall, the best college for M.Sc. in Computer Science course.

Placements: 95-100% placement is available. The highest salary offered is 16 LPA, and the minimum and average salary is 3 LPA and 10 LPA, respectively. Top recruiters are Citibank, Zynga, HDFC Bank, etc. Top roles offered are IT Consultant, Data Analyst, etc. 90% of students get internship opportunities.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is terrible. The classrooms and halls are well-equipped. There are separate departments for each course. There are more than 20 conference halls hosting events and competitions, where students studying various subjects, organize competitions and other events. Several facilities have been developed for sports and other activities.

Faculty: The faculty members here are very experienced and collaborative. The curriculum is one thing that needs to change, and it has changed a lot in the last four years that I have been there. So, there is no need to worry about the syllabus. You will get support from faculty members for any domain, whether academic or non-academic. Semester exams are easy and the pass rate is 71%.

Placements: 62% and 83% of students were placed. The pay scale is 11 LPA to 25 LPA. Data analysts and software engineers are among the positions available. The lowest wage provided is 7 LPA, while the highest income is 33 LPA. We provide good placements at our college. Informatica, Cyberark, Splunk, and others are top recruiters. 70% of students find internships.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are equipped with modern audio-visual technology. Wi-Fi facilities are available on campus. There are two hotels that are well maintained. Dedicated workstations are equipped with appropriate software and equipment, allowing for hands-on operation. There is also a cricket/football field as well as basketball and all sports.

Faculty: Many of the highly qualified faculty members hold Ph.D. degrees. The curriculum is up to date, focused on applications, and compliant with industry standards. Placements: Approximately 84% of students are placed in specialized services. Many students found jobs in other companies. The highest salary offered was 30 LPA, and the minimum offered was 7 LPA. Big companies like Modern, Emcure, Zydus Cadila, etc., visit the college for recruitment. Almost 77% of the students received internships. The higher-level roles offered are Food Safety Specialist, Microbiologist, and so on.

Infrastructure: The hotels were well run; Wi-Fi was installed, and classrooms and libraries were also maintained. Overall, materials and equipment are above average. The food in the mess and restaurant was good and suited our taste. The stadium was good too, with games to play.

Infrastructure: Hindustan College of Arts and Science is world-class and evergreen and offers a pollution-free environment. Placements: Our college admitted about 60% of students. The maximum salary package offered is 39 LPA. The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. The minimum salary package offered is 5 LPA. Prominent hiring firms include Google, ICICI Bank, KPMG, and others. Approximately half of the students secured internships across a range of businesses. Among the top positions available in our program are software engineer and blockchain developer.

Infrastructure: This college is well-maintained and one of the best colleges in India. Campus is excellent, and the location is suitable for students. This college is well-equipped. Classrooms are well-equipped. Wi-Fi system is also good, and connectivity is provided. It also has a library. For boys, there is a separate hostel named management hostel, for girls. They go to triveni complex. It also offers a good riot, a dedicated student health center, and sports facilities.
