My honest review about my college.
Placements: The placements and jobs are good. Every year most of the students are selected for any kind of company and choose their careers. Internships are also provided in my college. My course doesn't have internships but others have internships. Women's Christian College has the best placement opportunities. Many IT companies are let in for students. Almost everyone is placed on campus. Internships are done in our 2nd year and it's important to do an internship.
Infrastructure: The hostel infrastructure is good compared to others. The rooms are clean and good. Food which is provided in the mess also tastes well when compared to other hostels. Also, the hostel conducts many programs for students to showcase their talents.
Faculty: The curriculum for a master of science is as per UGC though current topics are also taught in DU. The curriculum not only covers university examinations but also helps students crack competitive exams like NET, GATE, etc. The whole curriculum is divided into four semesters. The curriculum is well-structured. There are many practical aspects like internships, case studies, research, and applied behavior modification. Research methodology and statistics are covered in depth. Personal effectiveness and peer counseling strengthened the course. The faculty of my college is very good and the atmosphere also the surroundings were kept and clean. The faculty members are also helpful whenever students need any kind of help without hesitating. The faculty helps the students who are unable to pay the fees.

I am absolutely satisfied because of the faculty members and management.
Placements: All students who applied for placements got placed. The is 5 LPA. All students have done internships from different companies like both private and government organisations. The most common role offered to students is teacher. The lowest package is 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is perfect. We don't lack anything. As far as I have heard from other colleges women's Christian college provides the best food and hostel facilities at a very minimum cost. Both veg and non-veg food are provided. Phone usage is prohibited during study hours. A day before the holiday, there will be no study hours. A common room is present in all hostels. The ancient building is perfectly maintained. We get to see how the infrastructure was built in the past and present. One TV is there in all the hostels. Students can excel in sports as well.
Faculty: All teachers are professionals. It provides everything a student must know in the industry. Exams are all easier as we get those questions that have been taught to us. 99% of the class passes every time. A student here is brought up to be so disciplined that they know what will be the consequences of each mistake they make and that makes them not repeat any kind of mistakes which leads them to have a good academic performance.
Other: Phone usage is not allowed but can be used with permission. The permission is given instantly when it is asked for. We get a lot of workshops. It provides the best scholarships. Students are given opportunities to study abroad for a semester or two or for a few weeks. Students can win scholarships to study abroad where they can go abroad and study for a whole year with zero cost.

College with good faculty and facilities for the students.
Placements: In the Women's Christian College, 30-35% of the students get placements in the M.Sc. course. Our college offers enough placements and internship opportunities to its students. The average package offered in the college was between 3-6 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were various research institutes. Top roles offered were researchers, project heads, HR, etc.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure for the students in the Physiology course. The college has Wi-Fi, labs, a library, a canteen, hostels, sports facilities, etc. The facilities for the students are of good quality. The college hostel facilities are also of good quality. The mess food in the hostel is good to eat.
Faculty: Faculty members available at this college for our course are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They are experienced and offer good teaching to the students. The course curriculum at our college is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams at our college are not very hard to pass.

The honest review by a 2026 student.
Placements: Almost 15 out of 50 people got a placement this year from campus interviews in companies like IBM, HDFC Bank, and Wipro. The average package offered is 3 LPA. In my batch, almost everyone got an internship as it was a subject in the third semester.
Infrastructure: There is a library with books covering all the topics. It also has a free Apollo pharmacy. We will have an assembly hour each week where there is a speaker to increase our knowledge about some topics.
Faculty: The BCA course teachers often don't give personal teaching to us, but they just do their job and leave. They prepare us correctly for the industry by giving projects and internships. We have to pass CIA 1 and CIA 2 to actually pass the semester. They also train by developing some soft skills. We also have a lot of certificate courses to do.
Other: I chose this course because it has a rising demand in the IT industry. Nothing should be improved here, and students have to focus more. It organises a lot of campus days like ethnic day, twining day, no bag day, etc. We also have a church, especially for Christian students. There are many additional activities like karate, silambam, eco club, NCC, etc.

Women Christian College .
Placements: The average salary package was around 4 lakhs per annum, the highest being 6 lakhs, and the lowest being 3.5 lakhs. All the students from my department have completed one internship program during the summer break of the first year and gained knowledge on office ethics. The top roles offered in my course are digital marketing offices, accountants, financial advisors, etc. The top companies hiring include Kotak Mahindra Bank, RR Donnelley, Cognizant, Infosys, etc.
Infrastructure: There are numerous facilities and factors available for the students on our campus. Some of them include a large library, which students can access during the day and is well-maintained and air-conditioned, Wi-Fi in most areas, and neatly set up computer and science labs. The hostel has all the homely facilities, and the food is also quite nice. There are 4 canteens and a few small shops too. The sports department also offers many games and activities.
Faculty: The faculty of the college are highly skilled and qualified for the subjects that they handle. They are quite helpful and understanding; they connect with the students, and their quality of teaching is quite high. The course curriculum is drafted and curated carefully for the students to gain proper knowledge of finance and accounting. The semester exams are quite difficult, and the pass percentage is 40.
Other: I chose this course for the scope it has in the future, and the best thing about the course is that it basically majors in two subjects: both accounts and finance. So, during my post-graduation, I can pick one and study; I will have an option. Improvement-wise, I wish we had three continuous assessments instead of two. There are numerous fests in our college too, and we are allowed to participate with the permission of our HOD. "FestEVE" is the biggest event of the year.

Good infrastructure, average placements due to corona and layoffs.
Placements: 12% of students got selected. I got selected for Associate Technical Engineer. Salary is 4.25 LPA per annum. People got selected in Deloitte, Kyndryl Solutions, etc. As I did UG, not the top role was given; only the trainee role was given, even to the master's degree holders who were attending training along with me. Only a few thousand difference in the monthly salary.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel inside the college where you are not allowed outside easily. It is very strict, but the environment in WCC looks beautiful with nature. I have also heard that it costs much to stay inside the WCC hostel. We do have a department library and a general library. We do have a lab, and for my UG IT department, we were using different classrooms to attend different subjects. Medical facilities are available. There is a canteen, but the break time won’t be enough to have lunch because of the rush. An annual sports day is there, but not that much importance is given to sports. Importance is given to education and attendance.
Faculty: Some faculty members are really good and teach well. Mostly, all the faculty members have Ph.D. The course is good and understandable, but sometimes it is hard to complete the portions until the examination. According to internal assessments, 68% pass, and mostly 70% in the semester. The course does not make students industry-ready, and in fact, what we studied in college was very minimal for the IT field.
Other: There are opportunities for entrepreneurs to shine and also for dancers. My course has a future, and jobs will be available in the future; that’s why I selected the course, but I was not interested in coding at all. Fewer events occur at our college. Scholarships are available, and I got a management scholarship.

The amount of applications, the number of seats available, the reservation policies, etc. will all influence the eventual cut-off. Obtaining more than 500 points (62.5%) would improve one's chances of being admitted.

During the admissions process, WCC may take into account, in addition to CUET scores, 12th board percentage, academic profile, and extracurricular activity performance.

Aspirants only need to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria to get admission and submit the application timely. There is no entrance exam for BCom admission at the college. Hence, it is not too hard to get an admission at WCC for BCom.
