The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.

A few more updates are given below:

The Karnataka PGCET 2026 application forms are now available for admission to the MBA, MCA and ME/MTech courses. The deadline to register is set as Apr 8, 2026. The exam for the MBA and MCA courses will be held on May 24, 2026, and for the ME/MTech course, on May 23, 2026.
The CAT 2026 registration is expected to start in the Aug, 2026 for admission to the MBA course.
The ATMA 2026 May session registration has started for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. The last date to register is Apr 21, 2026, with the exam being scheduled for May 3, 2026.
The XAT 2026 result is out for admission to the MBA/PGDM courses. Students need to log in to the official XAT portal to access and download their scorecard.

Placements in our college were bad in 2014.

Placements: Around 30% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Idea company was the top recruiting company. The top role offered to students was a marketing manager role. Only 20% of students got an internship from college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was not that good during my tenure. Still, the infrastructure is the same, and the facilities were okay. Wi-Fi was available here, but not all the time. The library was also was closed all the time, and we were not able to use it. There is no canteen available here.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were good because all the time visitors faculty was available in IBMR. The course curriculum was okay not that much relevant. The quality of teaching was not that much good, and they have to improve their quality of teaching after that students can be made industry-ready.

Other: I have chosen this course as I want to do marketing.

Dissatisfied with infrastructure and facilities. But faculty members are good.

Placements: Placements in our college are good. Almost all the students of our senior batch were placed with an average salary package of 4 LPA. Our college also provided the best internship opportunities. No big companies will visit our college for placements. The number of companies that visit the campus is improving now, so it is a benefit to freshers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is not bad. The main reason for not having much reputation for the college is there is no playground available here, and even classrooms are not that much attractive. There is a library with a lot of books. Our college provides good Wi-Fi facility.

Faculty: The main advantage of this college is its faculty members. Faculty members here are the best. Lectures are really nice and interesting. Faculty members of this college are highly qualified and experienced. They always help the students at any time.

Other: They will conduct events and fests for students every semester, and the campus crowd is not bad. The surroundings of the campus are not bad. Our college organises events in some other places like function halls and auditoriums, etc.

There is a nice coordination between teachers and students.

Placements: Placements are average. More than 150 companies visited the college to hire the students, but they hired only a few students. The average salary package offered was less than 3 LPA. Students are not satisfied as the college didn't invite the companies that the students like, and the students are also disappointed with the salary packages offered by the companies. The college provides placement opportunities, but the growth of the students completely depends on the student as the college doesn't have a good name in the market.

Infrastructure: The college has only one building which is a bit disappointing. But classrooms have all the facilities. There is a projector available in every classroom. Chairs available in the classrooms are nice. Air-conditioner facility is provided to the students. There is no canteen on the campus and even in the college premises. Students adjust with the hotels nearby as they can go out of the campus after each lecture.

Faculty: Teachers are very experienced, and all the teachers, especially the guest lecturers are well versed in their subjects. IBMR is known for the quality of the teaching. The interaction between the student and teacher is very good as there is no hierarchy between them.

The college is worthy the money. Good returns on investment can be expected.

Placements: We are currently in search of internships. The college provides good opportunities regarding internships. We can suggest our dream companies for internships and final placements. Final placements for senior students are going well. Around 60% of the students are already placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college it is not so good. It is a small campus. Good classrooms and a good library are available.. There is no playground. But many playgrounds are available nearby. Wi-Fi facilities are available on all floors. There is no on-campus hostel, but we have many other options like PG and homes are available nearby. Location of the campus is too good. Everything is available nearby. We have lot leisure time.

Faculty: One of the good things in our college is faculty members. We have good experienced, helpful and friendly faculty members. Industrial exposure is also not bad. Mysore University curriculum is good and mostly practical questions will be asked in the examination. They also provide Bharathiyar University and Bangalore University curriculums.

Other: In our batch, we started to conduct management fest. That was a great success last year.

Satisfied with the faculty. Good internship. Good placement.

Placements: The placement team is really supportive. I got the internship in Metro Cash and Carry on a good designation and pretty good stipend and got placed in 4th semester at III FL with a package of 3 LPA, which is pretty great for a fresher. I am happy with the placement and the job role and designation I got.

Infrastructure: The college has a good library, and good classrooms as per the number of students there is are indoor game setup at the top floor so you can relax at the free time, The classrooms are WI-FI enabled and projector enabled. The canteen is not available but you can get good food nearby.

Faculty: The faculty members are supportive in all manners as per academics and other guidance. Also, the faculty members are knowledgeable and experienced. They are having a real-time exposure and experience. They give you knowledge about the industry and academics. They will support you until the college and after completion of course also.

Other: The college is doing a trip immediately after joining. During the tenure in the college, they will take the students to trekking, resorts, and tours. The college has organised management and cultural fests. We got the opportunity to participate in all the college fests in Bangalore.

IBMR-IBS, one of the developing colleges in Bangalore.

Placements: Currently, I am working in DTDC Express Ltd. as Sr. HR Executive. They have given me this position directly because of the internship tenure of 3 months at the company. Our college worked maximum to get companies which are ready to give internship cum placements, and I am one of those who got placed. I got placed before the completion of the 4th semester, and to my knowledge, 30-40% students are placed before 4th-sem only. The average package may be 3.5 LPA for the people placed till now. The highest package till now is 5LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. We have a separate placement cell with 3 people excluding our director who also takes care of the placements.

Infrastructure: We have one single structured building with AC classrooms, Wi-Fi and we have a library also. On the top floor, we have indoor games like TT, chess, foosball, etc. However, our college is planning to shift to a bigger facility where I feel we will have more facilities.

Faculty: The faculty are good, and we have well-experienced people to teach us. We are taught with PPTs, case studies & live projects as well. We even got industry exposure by visiting TVS, Garuda Foods, Menzies Aviation, etc. The course curriculum was useful for us.

Other: We have attended many fests, and our juniors have conducted a fest also this year, and we have many other extracurricular activities as well.
