At the doctoral level, ISB Hyderabad offers full-time, part-time PhD programmes along with a PhD in Economics to the students. All these courses are of four-year duration and have a total fee of INR 29K. However, the semester fee of INR 60,000 per semester for all eight semesters can be waived off, subject to meeting specific academic requirements (for full-time students). Stipend/Fellowship:
- All students admitted into the PhD (FT) will be given a fellowship of INR 25,000 per month
- After passing the PhD qualifying examination, the students are paid a fellowship of INR 35,000 per month till the student defends the thesis proposal
- Stipend of INR 40,000 per month will be paid to the student, after successful defence of their thesis proposal and up to the completion of four years of PhD
- Stipend would be paid for only 48 months (four years) from the date of commencement of the course or till completion of it
- A professional development grant of INR 20,000 per annum is also given to the students for the four years, for attending conferences, workshops and seminars
