At the doctoral level, ISB Hyderabad offers full-time, part-time PhD along with a PhD in Economics to the students. All these courses are of four-year duration and have a total fee of INR 5.2 lakh. However, the semester fee of INR 60,000 per semester for all eight semesters can be waived off subject to meeting specific academic requirements (for full-time students). Additionally, there is no fee waiver/ fellowship or stipend for part-time candidates.

IBSAT or IBS Aptitude Test is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA programme. Stipend/Fellowship:
- All students admitted into the PhD (FT) will be given a fellowship of INR 25,000 per month
- After passing the PhD qualifying examination, the students are paid a fellowship of INR 35,000 per month till the student defends the thesis proposal
- Stipend of INR 40,000 per month will be paid to the student, after successful defence of their thesis proposal and up to the completion of four years of PhD
- Stipend would be paid for only 48 months (four years) from the date of commencement of the course or till completion of it
- A professional development grant of INR 20,000 per annum is also given to the students for the four years, for attending conferences, workshops and seminars
