Yeah its not recognized, govt. sector only won't accept. They want recognized certificate of PGPM or else MBA degree. And you won't face any problem in private sector. You can pursue both the things at same time from IBS as to target govt. sector as well. Placements are good, semester system with continuous evaluations will be there.

There is no specific campus as such for operations, you can try IBS Pune, Mumbai, Gurgaon.

6) Infrastructure
7) Success Rate.
8) Placement
9) Top recruiting companies.
Also, if possible go through the alumni speak section to get an idea what the alumni thinks about the institute.
