Icon Commerce College is an accredited college under Gauhati University.
Placements: Our college did not provide placements. The highest salary package offered was 2 LPA and the lowest was 0.5 LPA for entry-level profiles. Students used to do unpaid internships at CA firms. Top roles offered were accountant, HR, business development executive, marketer, sales executive, receptionist, and BPO.
Infrastructure: The campus was not huge. It had three buildings with four floors in each. It had a RO system water cooler. A parking lot was available for two-wheelers. It had a computer lab and a library. It had its own canteen. Wi-Fi was not available. Hostel facilities were not available. There were hostels in nearby areas.
Faculty: Teachers were very engaging, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was top-notch. The curriculum was relevant. It made students industry-ready. Semester exams were of intermediate difficulty. Around 80% of students usually pass.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue the business line. The best thing about Icon Commerce College is that it is situated right at the heart of the city, and although you don't get any placements, professional connection building is very good at the college. Events were good. The campus crowd was good. The connectivity was very good. Surroundings were not good. No scholarships were provided. Extracurricular activities were conducted once or twice a year.

It is below average with no campus and no placements.
Placements: There are 45 students in my batch. Many of them are absent, and only a few go to college. There is no placement, so no requirement at all. I don't have the actual percentage but very few get internships in Guwahati only for the role. As I am doing BBA sales is the only role offered.
Infrastructure: Facilities are lacking, with only the building available. The washrooms are smelly, and there are only two labs, so we have to wait for our turn. There is no Wi-Fi at all. The classrooms are average, with only fans and no AC, making it impossible to attend classes in summer. The hostel food quantity is average, and there is no campus to play.
Faculty: Teachers are good. They are qualified with proper knowledge. The course is more academic rather than industry ready. Students usually just attend class and leave. Many are often absent. The exams are average. No books are needed as the study material is work.
Other: The course has a business-related background with on-the-job training. Only freshers, Teacher's Day and farewell are conducted.

I am satisfied with its courses, faculty members, and infrastructure.
Placements: Our college did not provide placements. It was a degree college. Students would get their degrees only. They pursued their higher education.
Infrastructure: Our campus surroundings were good. This college was located in a centralised place. The infrastructure was better. Parking area was also available in this college. It also provided a decent library. Computer laboratory was good. Digital classrooms were also available.
Faculty: Semester exams were normal. Our college followed the Choice Based Credit System. Classes are regularly conducted. There were 3 streams namely, arts, commerce, and science. Students could study various courses without the problem of attendance.
Other: Our college offered B.Com, B.A., BBA, M.Com, M.A., M.Sc., and many other courses. Furthermore, there were various courses in science, such as physics, biology, and geology.

Many improvements are needed, and industrial visits are a must.
Placements: It's been tough to get placement in Guwahati as there is no placement provided by the college but education is good and well taught by the professor there. It's a degree and you can apply in various sectors as per the education norms. So be prepared to do your own job search and placement.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good for education, but there is no Wi-Fi or library available in the college for students. The labs are for science term students. There are no hostel facilities at IIC Commerce College, but there is a mess and canteen on campus, as well as some medical services.
Faculty: Teachers are well educated and highly effective. They are knowledgeable. The quality of the teaching is good and helpful. The course curriculum is appropriate for the needs. The students are not industry-ready but need some training or internship after completing their studies. Semester exams are also not that tough and you can easily clear them without any trouble. Furthermore, the semester's passing rate is 30%.
Other: Basically, I chose the course because I want to do management and, furthermore, I have completed an MBA, and the best thing about the course is that you will know the structure of management and commerce for your further studies. There needs to be some improvement, such as some practical and industrial visits for knowledge. And if the events are somehow good but not the best, you can enjoy them with your classmates. There are no scholarships available and there are no other kinds of extracurricular activities in the college. And the campus surrounding it is small, not much area to Rome around.

Good environment with good culture.
Placements: We never had any placements from our college. No placement, no package offered in my course. We had no recruiting companies for our course. We had to search ourselves for internships and placements with the help of a consultant, who also charged us higher fees for guaranteed placements.
Infrastructure: Such facilities are not available at our college. It was just a four-walled structure with a very small surrounding area. No mess, no canteen, no medical facilities. For sports and games, we had to rent places to do an event. We had a tough time in college.
Faculty: The teachers were absolutely very helpful. They are always on time and eager to let students learn and understand. It depends on the students how they want to carry themselves in the future, but our teachers at the time of our batch were knowledgeable and qualified.
