Hi Rohit!
Congratulations on scoring 91.8 percentile in CET exams. This is a good score, yet not that good to get you in for MS course. Yo do not lose hopes and try to get through institutional level seats (ILS) and try your luck there.

Hey Raj,
Congratulations on scoring 88.2 percentile in CET exam. This is a decent score and you do have great chances to get yourself admission provided you GD and PI goes well. IES MCRC considers score as one of the factors of evaluation and rest depends on your performance in GD and PI and also Your work experience. Since you have 1 year of work experience it is going to be an add-on. so right now I would advise you to start working on GD and PI and be prepared to answer the questions related to your work experience, as they might grill you on the same.
All the best.

Yes, it is true. The cut-off is mostly above 90 percentile.

Hi Twisha,
Congratulations for scoring 61.99 percentile. I would say that this is not a very good score but then at IES MCRC, you can take a chance and appear for GD and PI process. You never know your performance can overlook your score. Start

Hi Adi;
It's difficult to get MS at this score in cap because cut-off for open HU was~97% in cap. You can try ILS seats during cap rounds. To be safe side you can also fill Chetana's PGDM form. All the best!

To be honest, both IES MCRC and MET are good colleges in their respective ways. So, as far as the decision is concerned, just go with the area of specialisation you would want to pursue further and then compare the colleges. As far as IES MCRC is concerned, they provide various ways to excel i.e. they provide us with lots of live projects for each specialisation and also has best faculty members to guide throughout, not only that we have industry mentors who would guide us through the industry of your choice. Apart from that we have sum fun learning sessions and also too many guest lectures and this help us to improve the our networking. Placements in IES MCRC are decent enough but again that totally depends on your performance throughout. Again, I would say choose wisely by comparing them in the parameters mentioned above and mainly on your area of specialisation.
All the best.

Hi Dhruvesh,
To give a judgement with your score might be dicey. In general, people scoring 70 percentile and above do get a chance to give GD and PI. This does not give any surety regarding your selection. For IES, your score is just one parameter and others are based on your performance in GD and PI and if you have any work experience then it would add on to your score. So, as of now, start preparing for GD and PI.

Hi Ruchira,1
There is no specific cut-off as such, but the minimum score should be 50 percentile. They call each and every one for GD and PI process and judge you on the basis of your performance. Your score is just one of the factor of evaluation and there are other factors too. Kindly visit the official web page of the institute to gain more knowledge about the same. As far as ROI is concerned the placement what you get is also dependent on your capability so the more you work hard the more better options you would receive.
