Candidates who do not take the NCHMCT JEE can still be admitted to IHM Kurukshetra's courses. The NCHMCT JEE rank and grades are the primary determinants for admission to the BSc programme. Candidates need to have finished Class 12 in order to be eligible for courses. Direct admission is available to candidates based only on their merit and eligibility for UG Diploma programmes.

Those who want to enroll at The Institute of Hotel Management, Kurukshetra, must pass the following entrance exams:
The Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) for the Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is administered by the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. For the BSc programme, the organisation accepts this entrance exam .

BSc: For undergraduate applicants, IHM Panipat provides a three-year BSc curriculum. 
UG Diploma: There are three specialisations available in the Diploma programmes. To take part in the merit-based admissions process for the Diploma programmes, candidates must complete the application. 

Candidates wishing to get admission to the BSc course at IHM Kurukshetra are requried to follow the entrance based admission process in order to secure their seat in the programme. NCHMCT JEE application form must be filled and candidates must appear for the entrance and clear the cutoff set by the institute to secure a seat. 

A candidate's chances of being admitted directly to IHM Kurukshetra depend on the course they are applying for. When enrolling for a BSc program, one cannot apply for direct admission. To enroll in a degree programme like the BSc, candidates must sit the NCHMCT JEE exam. On the other hand, applicants for any  Diploma programme offered by IHM Panipat may apply for direct admission.
