IIMC is the Training Academy of Indian Information Service (IIS) Officers. In addition, the Institute successfully conducts a number of Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism Courses in English, Hindi, Radio & TV, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Advertising & Public Relations, which enjoy high industry acceptance. As of now, IIMC Aizawl only offers two courses, namely Online PG Diploma in English Journalism. At present, the temporary campus is located inside the campus of Aizawl University. The new institute will be situated in approximately 8 acres after the construction of its permanent campus.

They are both good choices but understand that ACJ has a experience of 15 years while the IIMC has been there for 50 years. I would say IIMC is a better choice because it provides for better resources and experienced teaching staff.When it's come to faculty and placement of IIMC .It provide's good faculty all teachers are well qualified and are experienced. It's students has also placed in well known media organisations example:The Times of India, The Economic Times, The Hindu, The Indian Express, The New Indian Express, The Telegraph, The Statesman, The Hindustan Times, Frontline, Business Standard, Digit, UNI, NDTV, CNN-IBN, Times Now, ANI, Reuters, Big FM Radio.

Hi Nishar,  Among all the IIMC campuses, IIMC Delhi is the best. However, Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu is the best institute for journalism and mass communication in Jammu. The institute is new compared to other IIMCs but is the best in the North-most India. Life at IIMC Jammu is quite diverse and dynamic. IIMC Jammu attracts students from across the country, leading to a rich cultural exchange and opportunities to learn from different perspectives.

Hi Nishar, As of now, Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu does accept CUET PG scores to offer PG Diploma in English Journalism. There's no mention of the minimum cutoff on the official website of IIMC Jammu. CUET PG 2024 cutoff is expected to be released separately by the participating universities. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks one has to secure in order to qualify for the exam. 

IIMC Jammu only offers PG Diploma in English Journalism as per the official website of the institute. Hence, its English Journalism specialisation is the most popular one as well. The institute follows a fight for seats in the following programme, i.e. PG Diploma in English Journalism. There's no clarity on the no. of seats offered by the institute.
