IIMC is the Training Academy of Indian Information Service (IIS) Officers. In addition, the Institute successfully conducts a number of Post-graduate Diploma in Journalism Courses in English, Hindi, Radio & TV, Urdu, Odia, Marathi, Malayalam and Advertising & Public Relations, which enjoy high industry acceptance. As of now, IIMC Aizawl only offers two courses, namely Online PG Diploma in English Journalism. At present, the temporary campus is located inside the campus of Aizawl University. The new institute will be situated in approximately 8 acres after the construction of its permanent campus.

I would say IIMC is a better choice because it provides for better resources and experienced teaching staff.When it's come to faculty and placement of IIMC .It provide's good faculty all teachers are well qualified and are experienced. Hi Nishar, As of now, Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu does accept CUET PG scores to offer PG Diploma in English Journalism. There's no mention of the minimum cutoff on the official website of IIMC Jammu. CUET PG 2024 cutoff is expected to be released separately by the participating universities. The cutoff refers to the minimum marks one has to secure in order to qualify for the exam.

Tuition fees for post graduate Diploma course in journalism (English and Hindi) is around 87,000 INR exclusing library and student welfare fees. The grand total comes to be around 96,000 INR. For PGD course of journalism in native languages like Marathi, Odia, Urdu, Malayalam, The tuition fees is 47,000 INR. Grand total is around 56,000 INR. Hostel fees are not included in above grand total. Hostel fees is around 40,000 INR. The fees seems to be very high but it is affordable when compared to other private colleges in terms of mass communication.
