A few more updates are given below:
- The CAT 2025 result is out for admission to MBA/PGDM courses. Candidates need to log in to check and download their scorecards on the official CAT portal.
- The GATE 2026 exam for admission to Phd course will be conducted from Feb 7, 2026 to Feb 8, 2026, and then from Feb 14, 2026 to Feb 15, 2026.
- The CLAT 2026 second merit list is out for admission to the five-year Integrated LLB (UG) and one-year LLM courses. Also, the third merit list will be out on Feb 5, 2026.

The answer to this question of whether an average student can get into IIM can be both yes and no depending on the definition of an average student.
- Based on Academics (Class 10/ Class 12/ Graduation): While a student with average scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation with a good CAT score certainly has good chances of getting a call from IIM-A, chances are less for someone with an average CAT score.
- Based on student category (General or Reserved): While it is tough for a General category average student to grab a seat at IIM due to high score requirements, a reserved category student can get admission being at average scores as well.
- Based on past work experience, diversity and other factors: Gender and academic diversity is also a factor on which students are shortlisted at IIM. IIMs judge the past academic category based on the degree obtained by the students before MBA and then a weightage is allotted based on that. For Engineers, the percentage for scoring the highest marks is higher as compared with other streams
- Performance in selection rounds: Once you make it to the final selection rounds, i.e., AWT/PI process, it can be considered a fresh start. At this stage, students can forget their past average-ness but definitely require good grasp over the past subjects as academics-related questions are asked in the interview.

The total fee for a five-year integrated BBA LLB/ IPL course at IIM Rohtak costs INR 28.4 lakh. This may include the tuition fee charges for all the years. Yes, the admission to the IIM Rohtak IPL or BBA-LLB course is based on CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam. The college invites students for PI on the basis of post academics and CLAT score. Futher, candidates who do not qualify or appear for CLAT can also appear for IPM Aptitude Test (AT), which is conducted in four sections (Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Legal Reasoning) at the institute.

To be eligible to get admission to IIMs for MBA course, it's mandatory to appear and qualify for CAT. There is no provision of direct admission available for admission to IIMs. This is the main and only qualfying exam valid for all IIMs. Aspirants seeking for admission to PGP course at IIM Rohtak must qualify for CAT with a valid score. This is a national-level Common Aptitude Test (CAT) conducted particularly for the selection of eligible candidates for Management courses.
Scholarships are offered to all-rounders, and academic toppers in the institute itself. In addition, being a part of IIM Rohtak makes you eligible for attending nationwide scholarship programmes as well. The IIM Rohtak provides a total of three types of scholarships. These scholarships include a DPM scholarship, Financial Support for Conferences, and a Contingency grant. Further, in DPM Scholarship, the participants of the DPM programme will be given a Fellowship of INR 30,000 for the first two years and INR 35,000 after passing the second year. In Contingency Grantscholarship, the eligible students will receive a contingency grant of INR 1.85Lacswhich is distributed across four years of the programme. IIM has 2 courses to offer after Class 12. A 5 year integrated MBA and five year law programme ( new course). Candidates with required eilligibilty has to appear for IIP aptitude test followed by an interview. Final selection is based on apptiute test, 12th marks, and interview scores. IIM Rohtak has recently introduced a 5 year course on law after Class 12.
Candidates have to register by providing their name, mobile number, email ID, and password. The application number is generated and sent to the registered mail with the password. Candidates can then login and fill out the form. The selection is based on CAT/GMAT/GRE/GATE/IIMR Entrance Test scores.
