The answer to this question of whether an average student can get into IIM can be both yes and no depending on the definition of an average student.

• Based on Academics (Class 10/ Class 12/ Graduation): While a student with average scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation with a good CAT score certainly has good chances of getting a call from IIM-A, chances are less for someone with an average CAT score.

IIM Rohtak offers a large diversity of courses to students in Management field. IIM Rohtak admissions are held on the basis of entrance tests. Students seeking course admissions must clear their previous qualifying examination and appear for any of the prescribed entrance exams such as XAT among others. IIM Rohtak will conduct the IPM AT counselling for admission to the five-year integrated course. Talking about IPMAT cutoff 2025 for the General category students, the cutoff score stood at 381.

For admission to IIM Rohtak BBA LLB/ IPL course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. This is a five-year integrated course of UG & PG. In order to get admission to this course, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate (for General category) in any stream. Further, candidates belonging from reserve categories such as SC/ ST or PwD are given a relaxation of five percent. These candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 55% aggregate. The minimum age limit for all candidates to apply for BBA LLB/ IPL course at IIM-R is 20 years.
