The courses that are provided in the MSc stream at IISER Mohali and IISER Pune are different because IISER Pune offers MSc courses for two years in Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics and Physics specialisation and one integrated course. On the other hand, IISER Mohali mostly offers integrated MSc courses for the duration of five years—BS+MS in Biological Science, Physical Science, Mathematical Science, Chemical Science, and integrated MSc-PhD in Physical Science for the duration of four years. The admission process for MSc courses in both institutions is as follows:Admission Process for MSc at IISER Mohali Admission Process for MSc at IISER Pune NBHM Masters or PhD scholarship for MathematicsRank in JEST examination for PhysicsDST INSPIRE fellowship or KVPY scholarshipRank in IIT JAM for the chosen specialisationRank in GATE.IIT JAMGATEIISER Entrance TestInstitute's in-house written test. Conclusively, finding in which institution it is easier to get admissions into an MSc course is tough, because both of the colleges offer different types of MSc courses and the selection process or some of the accepted entrance exams also varies.
