To get admission to M.Tech. in Data and Computational Sciences at IIT Jodhpur, candidates need to have a valid JAM score and meet the eligibility criteria. The programme is a dual degree programme with M.Sc. (Mathematics), and students will be directly enrolled in M.Tech. (Data and Computational Sciences) after completing two years of M.Sc. Mathematics program. The total duration of the programme is four years, and both degrees will be awarded together after successful completion.
Eligibility:
JAM qualified candidate will be considered as per existing norms of M.Sc. programs.
Students with CPI 8.0 or more than 8.0 in M.Sc. will be eligible for assistantship during M.Tech.
Program Structure:
After completion of two years MSc Mathematics program, students will be directly enrolled in M.Tech (Data and Computational Sciences).
Both the degrees will be awarded together to the candidate after the successful completion of both the programs.
Expected Graduate Attributes:
1. Skill set to clean, process, analyse, manage and handle security and privacy aspects of structured and unstructured data.
2. Ability to identify, design and apply appropriate pattern recognition and data mining methods for generating relevant insight from data
3. Knowledge and capability to develop and apply machine learning techniques for data driven modelling.
