What's new at ILBS Delhi? The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released a notification on May 25, 2022, saying that NEET SS 2022 exam date will be revised and announced soon. Earlier, NEET SS 2022 exam was scheduled to be held on June 18, 2022 and June 19, 2022 in computer-based mode. Also, for the 2021 session, the MCC released the final result for the Mop-Up Round of NEET SS Counselling 2021 on May 20, 2022.
ILBS Delhi admission 2021 to DM/ MCh/ DNB programmes is based on NEET SS which will be conducted on November 13 and 14, 2021. Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS), established in 2009, is a mono-super-speciality hospital and research centre for liver and biliary diseases located in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi, India. The institute is a teaching hospital and has been given the status of Deemed University by the University Grants Commission (UGC) of India. ILBS Delhi Admission 2021: Highlights
ILBS Delhi offers MSc (Nursing) at PG level and Post-doctoral Certificate Course (PDCC), Certificate programme, Doctorate of Medicine (DM), MCh and DNB at Post-doctoral level. Apart from these, PhD is also awarded to research education to students.
- Admission to all the Post-doctoral programmes is offered based on the merit in the national test conducted by ILBS

ILBS Delhi Admission 2021: DM, MCh and DNB
The institute also offers full-time DM programme in three specialisations. The course duration of DM programme is three years.
- Candidates must pass MD prior to the date of entrance exam, failing which the candidates will not be allowed to appear for the entrance exam
- In case the candidate is waiting for the results, mentioning of the same in the application is compulsory
- Candidates must compulsorily submit the passing certificate to the Associate Dean/ Assistant Registrar prior to departmental assessment

ILBS Delhi PhD Admission 2021
ILBS, New Delhi also offers quality research education to its students in the form of PhD programme. PhD at ILBS is offered in three specialisations. Seat allotment for PhD is decided by NET/ NEET official parameters. The institute conducts its separate entrance exam followed by a criteria of admission (GD/ PI).
Selection Process: Selection for PhD is based on a two-stage evaluation-
- Stage I: Candidates fulfilling the minimum eligibility criteria would be invited for ILBS Entrance test. The number of available seats will determine the number of candidates who will be called for the interview. The interview ratio will be up to 1:5.
- Stage II: Shortlisted candidates will be called for a round of interview to be held at ILBS, New Delhi. Total marks will be 100 and will be distributed as follows:
- Candidates who have cleared NET (CSIR/ UGC/ DBT/ ICMR/ equivalent) and possess their valid JRF fellowship- 30 marks
- Students with prior research experience (minimum six months)- 20 marks
- Research presentation of 10 minutes- 10 marks
- Interaction with the faculty followed by interview- 40 marks

ILBS Delhi Application Process 2021
ILBS application process is conducted online. Here is the step-by-step process of application:
- Candidates must download the application form and prospectus from ILBS website www.ilbs.in.
- Candidates must ensure their eligibility from the prospectus before applying online
- Candidates should submit their application online at the ILBS’s official website (http://www.ilbs.in)
- Applications for in-service candidates for sponsored seat must be routed through proper channel
- Application fee is Rs 5000 for PDCC courses, Rs 2500 for PGCC courses and Rs 1000 for PhD and Certificate courses
- Fee must be paid by net-banking/debit/credit cards
- Application fee once paid will not be refunded even in case of his/her application is rejected
Tie breaking procedure for Admission in ILBS:
In case two candidates get equal marks in the ILBS entrance test, the tie breaking process will be-
- Candidate completing MD/ MS/ DNB/ MBBS in minimum attempts will be given preference
- Higher marks in MD/ MS/ DNB examinations
- Higher marks in Final MBBS examinations
- Higher marks in Medicine in MBBS examination in respective specialties
- Note: Elder candidates will be given preference in case of a tie

Admission of Sponsored candidates-
- Candidates who are sponsored by their employer and meet the eligibility criteria for the respective course must appear in the national entrance examination
- Candidates must be in regular service of the sponsoring organisation at the time of admission
- Sponsoring organisation must specifically undertake to offer full salary to the candidate while the candidate is pursuing full-time program in the college
- Sponsored candidates also need to submit a certificate from the organisation sponsoring them at the time of applying for admission
