IMI Kolkata offers Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) a Part-time Programme for working individual. EFPM is a four years duration programme which can be completed within one year in exceptional cases. The programme consist of two phases involves two years of course work followed by a comprehensive examination (CE). The second phase requires scholars to work on their thesis. This involves the preparation of thesis proposal, pursuing research on this proposal and finally an examination based on the thesis leading to FPM. Overall EFPM prepares scholars for careers in research, teaching and consultancy in technical and theoretical disciplines underlying business administration.
The company-sponsored candidates who want to apply for PGDM in IMI Kolkata have to submit all the necessary documents as the other candidates. Additionally, they must submit a letter/undertaking from the sponsoring organisation and submit it during the Personal Interview round. IMI Kolkata offers courses in Diploma and doctoral-level. The flagship course offered by the Institute is Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). PGDM is two years full-time programme with summer internship with Institute’s partners. In second year candisates can choose their interested specialisation : Finance, Economics, Operational Management, OBHR (Organisational Behaviour), Marketing, Management Information Systems & Analytics and Strategy, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
The IMI Kolkata XAT Cutoff 2024 was released for admission to the MBA/PGDM course for all categories under the All India quota. The XAT Cutoff 2024 was overall 70 percentile for the General category candidates from the All India quota. This cutoff was for students to avail a seat at the Post Graduate Diploma in Management course.
International Management Institute Kolkata accepts XAT/ CAT/ CMAT/ GMAT scores for admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Management programme. IMI Kolkata XAT cutoff 2024 is yet to be released for the PGDM course. During the IMI Kolkata cutoff 2023, the XAT percentile stood at 70 for the General All India category student. So, considering the previous year's cutoff percentile, candidates seeking admission to the IMI Kolkata must secure 70 percentile or above in the case of the General category.
XAT cut off is released category wise. The cut off percentile for female candidates and male candidates are different. The cut offs for engineering and non engineering candidates are different and XAT cut offs for PGDM BM and PGDM HRM are different.
The XAT 2023 cut offs for PGDM HRM program, for male engineering candidates was 93 percentile while that for female engineering students, it was 91 percentile. XAT cut off 2023 for male applicants from a non-engineering background was 90 percentile and for women candidates from a non-engineering background is 88 percentile. For the PGDM BM program, the XAT 2023 cut off for male engineering candidates was 95 percentile and for female engineering students it was 92 percentile. Male applicants from a non-engineering background required a 95 percentile and women from a non-engineering background required 92 percentile. IQ City United World School of Business (IQ City UWSB), Kolkata and International Management Institute Kolkata both provides world class management education. Those who have a bachelor’s or equivalent degree, with at least 50% aggregate marks or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible for IMI Kolkata Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme. At least 3 years of bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, class 10 and class 12 school education is a must. Summer Internship Project (SIP) is a compulsory component of the PGDM curriculum at IMI Kolkata. After the end of the first year, the PGDM students are required to undergo an internship project in a company for about 8-10 weeks.
