IMT Ghaziabad - The B school offering everything.

Placements: Almost 100% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary package offered is 65 LPA and the lowest package salary package offered is 12 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges from 17-18 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Marico, Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc., visit the college for placements. Almost 100% of students got an internship in FMCGs like MTR, Tata Consumer Products, Marico, Dabur, and other tech and marketing companies. Finance also had great placements with a lot of companies from the BFSI sector and also big names like Arcesium, D. E. Shaw, Goldman Sachs, etc. The top roles offered are management trainee, marketing trainee, risk management, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Classrooms are all fitted with air conditions, projectors, a huge blackboards, and the layout is similar to those of the classes of IIM Ahmedabad, Harvard. The library has a huge pool of resources including various terminals to access research resources as well as a Bloomberg terminal. Mess food is good, with good quality and delicious as the quality is taken care of by the student-run mess committee. There is a doctor available on campus from morning to noon, and an ambulance is present 24x7 within campus.

Faculty: Teachers are PhD holders, and they have years of industry experience. They are seasoned veterans in their fields. The teaching quality is really practical based on learning from various published case studies and helps us to become industry-ready. Semester exams are really easy. The pass percentage is 100%, and the semester exams only consist of 40% of the total weightage of a subject.

Other: I chose PGDM marketing because of my past experience in sales so that I could improve my knowledge about this field and expand my horizons which eventually helped me secure placement at Havells from IMT. The best things about our course include learning from case studies. It also has awesome and experienced faculty members, presentations, and assignments based on case studies that help us to completely understand the concepts. I do not think the course requires any improvement. Events are one of the best, and it conducts a huge cultural fest called Passion. More than 25 fests are organised by various clubs.

A great exposure to college life with great peer to peer learning and a good career.

Placements: I can tell you that the entire batch gets placed with each student getting ample opportunities. The highest can goes to 28 lakh minimum to 9 lakh. Top recruiting companies are Gartener, HMC, Bajaj, HUL, Godrej etc. Students got internship in companies like aeris, Abbot, bajaj, Wipro CCL, Godrej consumer, hcl, cisco etc.

Infrastructure: Every facility is top class. We get very good food and the arrangement is good. Although you need to bring things like mattress, bucket etc. But otherwise hostel rooms are spacious and very clean. All other facilities mentioned are very good. We have a big playground too.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good keeping aside a few. All faculty members are supportive to students. Course curriculum is relevant and we are regularly asked for reviews. The passing is easy. We are given cgo which is based on comparative marking. Competition is although high due to good students.

Other: College life is great. Let corona pass away.

IMT is a great learning experience which also helped me grow technically as well as a person.

Placements: Placements were very good for our batch and seniors as well. Almost 100% of the students were placed from our college. All the major MNCs and technical firms along with a string of FMCG companies visited our campus for placements. More than 90% of the students were offered internships from our college. I'm currently pursuing my summer marketing internship in ElasticRun.

Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are available here. The library is spacious, and we have courts for sports like football, cricket, tennis, basketball, and badminton etc. Mess works really well, and the food is very tasty and accommodating to the tastes of all the students on the campus. I haven't faced any issues related to infrastructure until now, and the college gives all the freedom to utilise all the infrastructural facilities available on the campus.

Faculty: The college has the right mixture of experienced and industry experts who are well versed with industry knowledge. The teach through their real-time experience in the class, and this is an added advantage. One can learn in a great way with the help of them, and they also help us understand the practical aspect of any business problem. The course curriculum is a bit hectic in the first year. However, it is for our own good as knowing more concepts gives us the edge during internships. This also helps us gain a holistic view of the problem stated in the project.

The course curriculum and faculty are great. Placements are good. They offer ample opportunities.

Placements: The placement committee is responsible for the placements. IMT is an ideal institute for people with work experience. Students with poor academic background or students with more than 4 years of work experience might struggle during the placements. For the batch of 2017-2019, the average package offered was more than 12 LPA. The highest package offered for the international placements was around 60 LPA. A majority of the students get placed in IT, BFSI and consulting sectors.

Infrastructure: IMT Ghaziabad has one of the best libraries a business school could have. IMT's ELD infrastructure programme facilitates an enhanced learning experience. The hostel consists of air-conditioned rooms with in house dining facilities. Academic blocks, hostel blocks and placement office are equipped with the latest technology and infrastructure support.

Faculty: PGDM programme at IMT gives an option to get specialisation during the second year in marketing, finance, HR, operations and IT & analytics. In the first year, students study subjects related to general management. In the second year, subjects are taught according to the stream selected by students. Students get a lot of opportunities in the form of various academic projects.

Other: All the events at IMT Ghaziabad are organised and managed by the students who belong to various committees. A three-day sports event named Chakravyuh, socio-cultural events like Passion and Tatva, and other events like Crossroads, Joy of Giving, etc., are some of the flagship events of IMT Ghaziabad.

I am satisfied with this college.

Placements: Placements in our college were decent for our seniors batch, and it improved even though they had a huge batch size. Our batch size, so we should have very good placements. The highest salary package offered in an internship was 3.5 LPA for 2 months. The maximum salary package offered in placements was 56 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college has a small campus, but it provides good infrastructure. The college provides an air-conditioned facility in every room, which is great. The food served in the mess is good when compared to other colleges. New hostels are being built which have extremely good infrastructure, and rooms are spacious. Wi-Fi speed is good. The college doesn't provide a huge playground, but it's good enough. IMT is known for sports.

Faculty: Our college offers a plethora of subjects. The course curriculum is quite intensive. The college conduct exams 4 times a year. Teachers in our college are helpful and well qualified. All of them are PhD holders and have done some kind of research. The student to faculty ratio is 6:1.

Critical Thinking
Shortlisted candidates will be called for critical thinking test based on score obtained in CAT/ XAT/ GMAT. Candidates will be evaluated on two parameters – critical thinking and written communication skills.

You'll get the course of your choice as specified in the interview if you get in. Even if you don't, you'll get full-time, which basically means you can choose your course one year later (finance or marketing).
