Life at IIAD as a fashion design student.
Placements: The college helped me get a really great internship with a leading fashion designer. I was part of his design team for 8 weeks and learnt a lot about garments, fabrics and materials. The College also has a dedicated careers cell that helps us find the perfect job for us after we graduate!
Infrastructure: I am from the Delhi NCR region so I wasn't living at the hostel but some of my friends were. They had a wonderful experience. There are separate hostels for boys and girls that are fully furnished, safe and have all the required facilities. The campus itself is great and since we spend so much time there I am glad it is structured in a way that keeps in mind our needs and requirements. We have large studio spaces, a material lab, library, outdoor cafeteria, gaming room etc. This allows for work and enjoyment at the same time.
Faculty: The teachers here are so wonderful. They are not just mentors but are almost like our friends. The amount of experience and knowledge they have is so impressive and I have learnt so much during my time here. The course itself is designed in a way that allows us to work with our hands and understand the practical and technical aspects of things - not just the theoretical stuff.

Review of Indian Institute of Art and Design.
Placements: The career cell in our college is really helpful for placements. I have not attended placements yet, but I worked as a fashion styling intern for a leading magazine out of New Delhi for 8 weeks. It was a wonderful learning opportunity for me, and the extra advantage is it is perfectly suitable for my interests.
Infrastructure: Since I am from Delhi, I did not apply for a hostel. However, our college offers separate hostels for boys and girls. Hostels are spacious, safe and have all the amenities, and I came to know it because many of my friends stayed there. The infrastructure of our college is great. I love the campus and really enjoying working in huge studio spaces and spending time with my classmates in the outdoor canteen and gaming room.
Faculty: Teachers at IIAD are very helpful and supportive. They also have very much experience and knowledge. Their insights and suggestions really help us observe things from different perspectives. The course curriculum is designed in a very interesting way, and we are constantly working with new ideas and projects.

It is a good college to study.
Placements: The college is not that old, but the passed out batches are 1-2. Hence placements are not that good as of now. However, they help us a lot in all the possible areas like internships and everything. Placements are dependent on one's calibre.
Infrastructure: The college runs on studio basis, so we don't have classes. We have studios to work. Every resource like machines, tables, projectors, chairs, canteen, hall, air-conditioners and Wi-Fi are available. Hostel facilities are average as I heard from our classmates living there. People who shift from some other places to Delhi finds it difficult to adjust anywhere else, and it is a common problem which you'll face irrespective of hostel services.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and their qualifications are mentioned on our college's website. The course curriculum is different as compared from other colleges. The learning experience is quite different, which makes students ready and confident to work in the industry.
Other: The fee is a bit high, but private colleges also charge the same fee. However, as compared to other private colleges, IIAD takes less fee, and also it doesn't scam. The degree they provide is real, and the collaboration with KU London is working very well. They keep on visiting the campus and improvise everything. The crowd of the college is very decent and good.

Satisfied with all the help from the faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: 1. Percentage of students placed are less. 2. The highest : 35000 per month, the lowest: 20000 was offered. 3. Fashion designer, Buyer, Fashion photographer, Costume designer, Production manager, Pattern maker, Fashion curator, Fashion merchandiser, Fashion illustrator, Fashion publicist, Draper, Fashion journalist, Fashion consultant, Draper, Fashion forecaster, Visual merchandiser roles were offered. 5. The lowest: 20,000 per month and the highest: 1,00,000 per month was offered to our course. 6. 100% of the students got internships in companies like Tarun Tahiliani, 11.11/eleven. Eleven, Mantra by Shalini James, Pero, Eka, Akaro, Hemant and Nandita.
Infrastructure: 1. The entire college is given a Wi-fi limit of 1GB daily. The library is a centre in the college for the best books on design, the librarian is a person aware of each and every book and updates students with the latest book in the Library. 2. I don't use the college hostel. The canteen serves hot and delicious food daily. Medical facilities are available in the student support cell of the college with a first aid kit and the college is situated to one of India's best hospitals-Apollo hospital.
Faculty: 1. The faculty members are mostly graduates from NIFT and NID who share really a long year of experience in the industry and in teaching. The task-oriented approach in their teaching is what makes learning very fun here at IIAD. Moreover, as a person coming from down South for me, the college was very welcoming with faculty members whose interactive learning made it feel more like home. 2. The course is designed with a project lead learning of Design rather than learning based on theories and lectures. The course structure enables a final year student like me to graduate with a capacity to work independently and to understand our paths by oneself rather than depending on faculty.
Other: 1. I opted this course exploring various forms on the body. 2. I am very happy with my current course. 3. Connectivity is good.
